Her career spannedmore than twenty five years into the business and being the human resource manager of theorganization, she is leading her team members with full faith and confidence. Oninterviewing her over phone, she said, “Most people achieve bigger if and only if they havethe determination to work hard and keep on trying their best.” The human resourceprofessional answered each question with details and outlined her image as a strong person.She mentioned how hiring the right employee can prove beneficial for the company.Moreover, she shared her opinions regarding the leadership styles and skills a humanresource manager should posses. Providing training and mentoring to the employees, on adaily basis can foster the working environment.Lisa Brown Morton is a human resource professional of a non-profit organization. Itwas found while interviewing her that she used to work for a large multinational company inthe HRM position. She said, “I needed to cultivate more from the generalist background forgrowing professionally.” After working there, she felt that she had an interest in the non-profit organization’s human resource needs. Like Chin, she also believes in hiring the rightemployee for the organization’s benefits. She also believes that modern day social media canhelp in creating an influence over the people’s minds. She mentioned in the interview thatblogging and writing on social networking sites can bring in huge change in the society.Presently, she is the President and Founder of the ITM Group. Along with that, she is also thefounder of HR Bartender.

3HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENTAnswer 1.2 The Global Multiplex organization is more organized and hires skilled personnel forthe company’s benefits. They organize training and mentoring sessions every day for thirty toforty minutes, in order to train the employees for providing the best services. They take helpfrom professional experts and certified trainers for training sessions. Moreover, the companyorganizes orientation and induction programs for the new candidates, in order to give them aclear view of the company itself. In addition to this, they take care of each and everyemployee’s demands and expectations. They manage to provide a well balanced work as wellas personal life to them. The employees are encouraged and motivated to share their opinionsand views regarding the organizational issues. However, the company is more professionalthan the non-profit organization.In the next case, the non-profit organization tends to have a friendlier workingenvironment. However, the organization believes in hiring the right personnel for theirbetterment. They take care of their employees’ and staff members’ well being. The vision ofthe organization is to serve for the mankind. Moreover, they believe in providing a perfectworking life to the employees. They are motivated to raise their voice whenever necessary, ifthey find anything going wrong and against them. The organizational managementencourages innovation in their working techniques. They promote and allow their employeesto socialize. In addition to this, they are encouraged to share their thoughts and views for theorganization’s benefits. Apart from all these, the organization highly encourages diversity intheir human resource policies. According to Stone (2013), introducing diversity atworkplaces can enhance team effectiveness and relationships. This in turn proves to bebeneficial for any company.
