The companies in the hospitality sector that will be appropriate for me and as per the
objectives, which have been developed according to career plan are as follows:
Delta Hotels (Hotel Receptionist) - It provides opportunities in the career as it is a
four star brand hotel. With the basic knowledge about consumer relation and employees in
hospitality industry the following designation can be suited for me:
Front Office Attendant
Guest Relations Manager
Guest Services Associate
Guest Services Supervisor
Hotel Receptionist
In the case of some hotels, the job of the concierge is an entry-level position in a job.
However, most of the luxury hotels are in need of concierges who tend to have years of
experience in the hospitality sector. The most suitable job for me will be Hotel Receptionist.
The job of the Hotel Receptionist is to interact directly with customers along with provision
of various services to the customers (Ahmadi, Ahmadi & Abbaspalangi, 2012). The role of
the concierge involves acting as liaisons, thereby attending the guests by providing certain
services which they ask for or it is the job of the concierge to anticipate beforehand what the
customers might need.
