Question 1. (5/100)
This question starts you thinking about your career ambition/s, your current Program of study and what
influenced you to enrol in that study.
a) State your current career ambition/s (occupation/s of interest) and the name of your current
Program of study.
Current career ambition/s: To attain the post of a manager
Current Program of study: MBA
b) Reflect on what led you to enrol in your current Program of study.
This may include who influenced your decision, why you felt it was an appropriate path of study for
you, what career goal you had in mind, information/research you undertook, why you chose this
Program over other possibilities, or other thinking that was relevant for you.
You can use dot points for this part of the question.
My brother holds the post of manager in a reputed organization. He has earned so much respect from
his team members. This fact has inspired within me the interest of pursuing MBA. I think in the present
age of competition, receiving proper guidance on management, is necessary. For this, I carried search
engine optimization regarding the institutions and colleges offering MBA courses. While searching, I
came across courses other than MBA, however, I am determined to follow the footsteps of my brother.
During this process, I was confused whether I am selecting the right career option. Therefore, I talked
with my friends, relatives and well-wishers for assessing the effectiveness, appropriateness and
feasibility of the chosen option.
