Capability Audit
Communication is a very important professional and personal skill. It helps people to
interact effectively with their peers, subordinates and seniors. It an indicator of a person’s level
of interaction. It can help to build successful professional lives of the people engaged in any
organizational endeavors. I was a risk manager at the ANZ bank at the beginning of my career.
This was an important experience that I had while working for the ANZ bank. It became an
important part of my growth. The job role made me interact with the managers and the
subordinates of the bank in effective ways. Moreover, I was required to make presentations on
various things related to my job role. I had to attend meetings where I had to make myself and
my opinions clear in front of all the managers. I used to work on the division of customer
mortgages which required me to manage team of 10 risk officers. I had to regularly communicate
with them in regards to the proceedings.
Administrative and organizational skills are much required for organizational progress of
any person. It requires fair amount of administrative and organizational skill levels (Sotarauta
2016). This was a skills that I developed during my college days. This improved further in my
role in the ANZ bank as a risk officer. The organizational skills that were much required in my

systematizing the task management processes. The effective and efficient working of the
department is ensured through strong organization and administrative skills. It actually helps to
integrate the personal skills with the professional requirements.

Teamwork is a part of my most important values. Hence, working in teams is important
for me. The ability helps to bond well as an organizational environments one always needs to
pursue some form of collective targets. The first learning of team work that I derived was from
my college days. Students had to engage in group assignments wherein they had to solve
problems by effectively working in teams. This helped to understand greatly the requirements for
teamwork in any organizational environments. The team I was part of at the ANZ helped to
mitigate risks in the consumer mortgage division of the bank. My team was successful in
mitigation of the risks in the mortgage division of the bank. My team was successful in dealing
with the mortgages and similar aspects in excellent ways (Taber and Blankemeyer 2015). The
best thing is to develop a bonding through which success can be measured and reached in mutual
terms.
Customer service skills are very important in organizational environments. This is
because the customers have to engage with the organization for productive functioning of the
businesses. This was an ability that had to be developed more at work (Buruck et al. 2016).
Without initial interactions with the customers, it becomes difficult to understand their needs. In
my current endeavor, I am working for the Customer Service Institute. This has helped me to
garner essential experience in the given area. The customers that I had to deal with had very
complex issues and were grossly dissatisfied with their received services. Through empathy,
rapport building and a helpful attitude I was able to help the customers greatly.
Project management ability is an important ability of people engaged in any professional
endeavor. As a project manager I had to handle projects with the onshore centers of the ANZ
bank. I was in charge of implementing the framework for quality that integrated customer
management with risk compliance. Also As a member of a local logistics company I was given a
