Introduction
In the present era, there are several job opportunities present in market place. By availing
such job opportunities, one can make a bright career in an efficient manner. To grow in career, it
is essential for the students to avail the growth opportunities significantly. By choosing a right
career, the students can easily grow & enrich successfully (Sheoran and et. al., 2018). In the
present report, various career growth opportunities have been included. In the present context, I
have been chosen marketing as the career option. Here, marketing is a wide function which
includes several career opportunities. I am a student and looking forward to make a bright career
in the marketing field. The report will cover several skills & competencies to grow in the career
in the future period of time.

Presently, several new and advanced marketing trends are introduced in the market place
significantly. The main aim of introducing the new trends is to facilitate innovation & creativity
to attain higher level of success in the future period of time. Apart from this, it helps in
introducing unique products with an aim to improve the lifestyle of the individuals. In the field
of marketing, there are several innovative and creative techniques have been introduced that is
helpful in ensuring the future growth. In this context, the recent trends are mentioned below:
Globalization: Globalization refers to the exchange of good, services and other elements
from one country to other. It basically shows the cross border transactions to facilitate better
relationship between the countries. The main aim of globalization is to reduce down the
restrictions on international transactions at minimum level. Due to the globalization, it is easy to
exchange various good and serviced across the world (de Jong and et. al., 2021). In addition to
this, it also helps in enhancing the technological development with an aim to make the unique
position of the country in the world. Apart from this, the globalization has also been increased
the scope of marketing. Now, the companies can easily promote their products and services at

international level. This will allow the marketers to target the international audience that will
further enhance the level of sales & profit margin. However, globalization has negative impact
on small entities as they do not have sufficient amount of resources to compete with
multinational companies effectively.
Technology: Nowadays, technological advancement is taking place worldwide. Here, the
companies are using recent & updated techniques to improve the overall efficiency of the
business. Due to technological development, the companies can easily embark the innovation to
develop unique & creative products. In the field marketing, several tools & techniques are
utilized with an aim to gain the attention of customers. Implementing efficient tools is helpful in
completing the marketing & promotional activities appropriately (Pestun, Mnushko and
Ievtushenko, 2019). Apart from the traditional marketing methods, several recent and updated
technique are also utilized for the purpose of promotion. Now, the products & services are
promoted through digital platforms like websites, social media and more. It helps in promoting
the products widely so that the respective business entity can attain the pre-defined goals.
Customer relationship management: It is a tool that is used by the organizations to
maintain the data in an efficient manner. This is a tool which is helpful in maintaining positive
positioning of an organization. The main aim of CRM is to formulate positive relationship with
the customers so that they purchase the products to the company frequently. By implementing
CRM tools, it is helpful to encourage audience to make a crucial part of the company (Fondevila-
Gascón and et. al., 2020). Now, the customers are considered as the most important part of the
business organization. CRM is a tool that is useful in increasing the loyalty of the customers with
an aim to generate the competitive advantage in an efficient manner.
Out of the above-mentioned information, it is analyzed that there are several trends are
being followed in the field of marketing. These trends include technology, CRM and more.
Implementing such trends in business is helpful in increasing the effectiveness of the business
organizations in an efficient manner.
