of travel agent.
In this relation, the skills and knowledge that are required to be present within me to
become eligible for the job role of travel agent are described as underneath:-
Professionals operating within the confines of travel and tourism sector need to have
effective communication skills in order to set effective networking with the travellers. This
provides assistance to the travel agents in gaining the attention of more number of individuals
and telling them about the tour packages offered by the entity. In this relation, I have analysed

these skills so as to better attract the travellers and equip them with travel agent services.
Communication is the most important skill for me to effectively execute the roles and
responsibilities of a travel agent.
Another prominent skill which is important for travel agents is acknowledged to be
conflict management. With the utilisation of this skill, an individual can easily deal with a large
number of individuals and effectively handle any conflicts that arise with them. With respect to
this, I have determined that my conflict management skills are quite strong. This provides
assistance to me in effectually tackling all the issues that emerge with the clients or travellers.

tourism industry. This provides assistance in communicating their views and thoughts to people
in a clear manner. In this relation, I have acknowledged that my presentation skills are sound.
However, it can be improved in order to better appeal to the travellers and retain them for a long
period of time in future context.
