2CAREER VIEWPOINT
Introduction:
Action plan for career is a very effective strategic work process to strengthen the
career planning. When it comes to planning career, self assessment is another essential
factors that helps to identify strength as well as weakness of individual (Zepeda 2013). The
purpose of this reflective report is to present my personal analysis considering my, strength,
weakness and opportunity for further development. On the basis of this analysis the career
action plan will be developed and presented in this report considering the SMART goal
framework. A curriculum vita is attached in the appendix section (Appendix 1).
The aim of this reflective report to be prepare for an assistant accountant job at
Huntress Pty Ltd in UK. As per the job description the candidate should have adequate skills
to perform financial operations such as budget planning, tax returns, payroll development,
financial auditing and financial settlement though using digital interface in a cloud based
platform. As per the job description the organisation is expecting a candidate with self-
motivation, analytical ability, IT knowledge, Methodological knowledge, Numerical accuracy
and business interest. A graduate candidate can apply for this job and therefore being a
graduate I decided to assess myself to be a ideal candidate for this particular job profile.
Personal analysis:
In this section I am going to discuss my strength and weakness with respect to the
above mentioned job profile. In order to identify my strengths and weaknesses my knowledge
and skill level should be critically analysed. As per the job description, some personal skill
and some professional knowledge is essential for the assistant accountant position.
