INTRODUCTION Career planning is the major objective for a graduate student to present and fulfil its role and responsibility ina future job. A good career planning will help in understanding own interests and area of expertise to take job related decisions. After attaining my graduating, I will need to showcase my knowledge and skills that I have gained during my studiesin order to get my dream job. For this instance, through this report, I willlook out the current emerging market trends which will help me gain understanding of what knowledge and skills I will required to get into role of HR in retail industry(Chandra, and Ghosh, 2018).To carry on this report, I will use research methods and job advertisement of retail company that will help me in developing my skills, knowledge and experience. MAIN BODY TASK General trends which will impact on role of HR in retail industry In a profession, there are various trends and factor that influence in getting a job for student. These trends will help in gaining insights of what skills and knowledge required for the job post an individual is looking for. In the large leading market, there are various new business that are commencing with new innovation and unique culture beliefs required professional expertise and skilled individual who couldexpand their business and achieve target goals by using creative and intellectual mindset(Jacob, 2016). In recent year of 20-21, the business have come to a great invention and new technologies that require skilled contribution with great accountability. As in retail sector, there are high competition due to having same product range that include general and consumer goods. As the industry have easy entry and exit from the concern. the business are growing rapidly into this sector(Kosowski, 2020). The competition have rises to its maximum level where every firm preparingthem for bing the best out of all in unique product concept, promoting and marketing, price low and high, customer satisfaction and many morethat a business required to contribute into society. Technologies and globalisation are the main elements that influence on the market and focus on building knowledge as per new technologies in order to compete with rivals that are taking a high leadand power. To the new concept of working and business operations, there are risen into the demand of talent into the scare market
wheretechnologies have grown up but the employees are stick to the tradition methods of working in their roles. There are several trends that needs to follow these are described below: Digital transformation:into the leading changing environment of market, where people are more focus on online purchasing and wanthome satisfaction. The HR managers ofretail sector are mainly required to have managers whop could see the world through digital eyes and make reliable contribution to boost the sales into online platforms. In order veto follow this trend, they are entitled to build artificial intelligence and awareness ofupcoming software so that retail industry will easily compete into competitive market. Customer experience:making customer satisfied is the main of retail industry as the product are basically meant for the use of each and every customers out there into the market that needs to be satisfiedto come back, here role of HR managersplay vital function in building attractive strategies, hiring best and right individual who have goods marketing skills to grab customer attention (McIlwaine, 2017). The business into retail sector are looking for the individuals who have same mindset and behaviour that customer could perform during making purchase so the sectors are most recently in the search for smart andmodern individual who could solve customer problems in a modern way. Getting aware about what customer want and expect from retailers will be a backbone of all the success that a effective manger would found out. Collaboration with digital and human:the recent trends into retail sector are basically consisting making relations with the digital technologies by connecting to human ina closure way. In the recent scenario, technological advancement have risen up and HR professional will be required to have predictive analytics, artificial intelligence and machinelearning skills that will be fruitful in making the investment successful on technologies. So that retailer are looking for the skills full employees so that no investment would get wasted without proper knowledge and execution of advanced technologies. Trend in globalisation:this trend focus on expansion andgrowth of the organisation which contribute in developing strategies to stand at first position into globalmarket. Soft skills and human centric approach in order to behave patiently for understanding human tendency of working to incorporate with them. Evaluating the right candidates for right department by taking effective interview and selection procedure. Problem solving is required ton provide assistance to employers for Woking in better environment. Skills for putting right individual into right activity to make proper utilisation of manpower. Knowledge and expertise: knowledge is requited to understand artificial intelligence knowledge of analytical tools and work performance of customer.

Must be a part of internship programmes togain effective training and experience regrading the working criteria of HR executive required in the modern world. Evaluation: The job description of Tesco has provided me with various skills ans set of knowledge that I will be encountered for the post of HR. as the retail industry have the largest of all in the market. I personally desirers to work on the post of HR executive because of my interest in leading others and take new skills into consideration. Be a personality which others crave for is my main motive which makes me all rounder in performing business problem. Retail industry has the big role play in diversified product that will surely help me in gaining my experience and preparing me for taking high goals in career(Wittenberg, 2016). CONCLUSION This report have concluded the most recent trends that are evaluating in the current market in order to look forward for career development. By understanding these trends, it is clears that, modern world required modern solution in being a effective leader at workplace. HR manager are liable for taking decisions regarding planning and making strategies by adhering to every new and innovative concept of working.
