Introduction
Career view point is helping individuals to take different actions through the life times
and achievement of aim to be more successful in their career. It includes skills that are possessed
by an individual on the basis of the title that they have on and work that is to be accomplished in
a specific time period. Based on the overall skills review conducted in cw1 it is identified that
the retail sector is growing very fast and there are offline large number of opportunities for
young employees (Vondracek, Lerner and Schulenberg, 2019)Especially in the marketing sector
there has been a complete transformation in the way organizations are hiring individuals for the
purpose of promoting their products and services. Marketing managers are working towards
understanding the changing requirements of customers so that their needs can be facilitated
based on specific requirements. The purpose of execution of a marketing manager role includes
abilities of problem solving creative skills, innovation skills, commercial skills and also
significant knowledge of formulation of attractive marketing strategy. In the present report there
is analysis of the skills and the knowledge requirement of an individual based on overall strength
and weakness. Further career action plans have to be prepared that can help in efficiently
achieving laid goals and objectives (Jiang, 2017).
PERSONAL ANALYSIS
For performing different rules it is necessary for individuals to possess different skill sets and
knowledge levels so that they are able to efficiently perform the assigned job duties. These roles
are reflecting overall strength possessed by a person in order to perform their respectively
assigned responsibilities.
I got an opportunity in the retail sector in the marketing field that can help me in utilizing
my existing knowledge and skills level. Marketing managers are basically concerned with
designing promotional use of related strategies that can help in attracting the target segment of
customers. The main role of marketing manager in marks and Spencer is to analyze the customer
buying behavior so that strategies can be formulated accordingly. For the purpose of undertaking
this role it is necessary to analyze the present knowledge abilities skills that have to be developed
in order to practically form the assigned job roles. I presently possess a detailed knowledge in
different languages that include Spanish, Italian, and English that can help me in understanding
the needs of local people and also it is going to provide a lot of East in developing interactive
channels of communication. Apart from this my present effective communication skills that I
