Thus,encouraging employees is essential within firm which results in empowering them to raisebusiness efficiency and productivity in market (Torrington and et.al., 2015). Management oforganization aims to carry out effective motivation techniques that encourage workers to enhancetheir efficiency and improve their performance in an effective way. Therefore, using differenttechniques such as financial and non financial reward systems helps in improving individualperformance and assists them to raise their motivation and attain organizational goals. Moreover, identifying proper research outline specifications helps in encouragingworkers and thus assesses their motivation level so that performance could be improvedeffectively and efficiently (Jonathan, 2010). Further, management of firm needs to identify themotivation needs of its workers and then provide them appropriate methods such as financial andnon financial rewards so that it encourages them in regard to attain desired organizationaloutcomes. Implementing such motivational techniques assists in improving businessperformance and thus raises individual satisfaction so that performance and productivity of firmcould be improved. Here, study is being carried out upon the employees of Hilton hotel and thusidentifies their motivation level and in order to improve the same provides them differentencouragement techniques and raises productivity and performance of firm. Aim- “To study the employee motivation and its effect on their performance and businessproductivity”- a case study on Hilton Hotel.Objectives- To assess the needs of employee motivation.To identify the factors that motivates employees.To examine the importance of motivation and its effect on improving business outcomes.To provide strategic ideas for motivating workers in regard to carry out smooth runningof business.Research questions-What is the need of employee motivation in business?What are the factors that motivate employees?

Thus, it identifies the interest of the researcher andthus they analyze the interest of researcher in the particular topic i.e. employeemotivation and its effect on encouragement of workers and thus enhance theirproductivity and performance (Conaty and Charan, 2011). Here, interest of researcher hasbeen identified and thus they carry out the study upon particular topic and assessmotivation level of workers.Scope of research- Further, limited study has been carried out upon this topic and thus ithas high scope to be carried out upon particular research so that employee motivation andits effect upon employee productivity and performance have been identified. There arevery limited researches have been carried out upon this topic and therefore, researcherselects this topic in order to improve the research area (De Roeck and et.al., 2014).c) Critical review of literatureAs per the view of (Karaszewski, 2010) motivation is one of the crucial element thathelps in encouraging workers and thus improving their productivity so that performance ofindividuals could be improved and organizational goals could be attained. Management of hotelneeds to identify the needs of employee motivation and then provide them appropriatemotivational techniques such as financial and non-financial rewards so that employeeproductivity could be improved in an effective and efficient way. However, (Chell and Karataş-Özkan, 2014) argued that there are different factors that need to identify the motivation level ofworkers such as decreasing sales, low morale of workers, competition in market, low skilledworkers etc. All such factors need to be identified by the manager of organization and thenprovide them motivation so that their skills could be improved and thus they are encouraged inorder to improve efficiency and attain business goals. According to the opinion of (Eckerson, 2010) management of hotel aims to identify theimportance of motivation that helps in encouraging workers and raising their performancestandards so that business outcomes could be attained.
