Internet has become important individual life without which one cannot survive. With
changing period of time, use of internet is widening at larger scale. Digital age has been evolved
periodically. Amazon, a multinational corporation which deals in technology, e-commerce, retailers
and headquartered in UK. Firm is being considered as diversified company which deals in variety
of products as well as services. This report comprises of comparison between positive & negative
aspects of services in both online as well as offline context, personal security and privacy tools of
using internet, online research & communication skills . This report gives a brief knowledge about
usage of internet across the world.

Internet is defined as global interconnected networks that uses IP to communicate between
networks & devices (Amran, 2018). The usage of internet is increases with changing period of time.
In market products are sold in both as well as offline modes. Products & services are fundamentally
different things that require fundamentally different marketing strategies. Whereas product
marketing focuses on creating name recognition for the product, services marketing centres on
relationship building. So, comparison between products & services d which are sold in both modes

Advantages
 Physical evidence- Offline products which are sold provide evidence of their availability in
market. It enhances the confidence of consumers to purchase or use nit properly (Warnock,
2016).

 Replaced- These can be replaced in easier way as compared to online one which took time
to replace. Because consumers do not have to search for replacements processes. It can be
simply done by accessing store or retailer.
Disadvantages
 Bargaining- Main limitation is that bargaining is done by both retailers as well as end
users. Due to this conflicts arises & which disturbs the CRM.
 Search & select- To use offline products, end users have to search through varieties of
stores & after a time they select it if it fulfil their needs.
Positive impact of online services
 Global access- Services like flight bookings, hotel bookings have & many more have
global access to market. This leads to development of both business & CRM.
 Convenient- These are easy to use as they are convenient because internet is used widely.

Negative aspects-
 Computing service- Services which are sold on internet are being computerized which
means it does not completely fulfil end users satisfaction. It leads to loose of consumers
interest at depth.

 Increases morale & satisfaction- This states that when end users uses offline services,
they are able to enhance customers morale as well as satisfaction (Sun, 2018).
Drawbacks-
 High marketing cost- The cost of marketing of offline one are expensive which disturbs
business functions & operations. This is because they promote they promote it through
boardings, brochure etc.
So, after analysing above matter it is seen that in business both online as well as offline
modes are important which are needed to be carried out in proper manner. Evaluation of both

that they are adopted according to preference or requirement of end users. In context with

any user. There many illegal activities, crimes, frauds occur over the internet. This increases
concept of protecting personal credentials & privacy. In relevance with Amazon, they also uses

It is crucial to secure personal data so that they can be stored on internet without any fear. There are
various tools which are used for protecting personal security & privacy which are explained below-
