Details of the Change
 Mr Smith has decided to implement changes in the
organization of Sunoco Inc.
 Data migration would be done by migrating the
confidential data to cloud platform.
 Involvement of BI software and data warehouse
would also be done for taking better decisions
(Kuipers
et al. 2014).
 Such changes would be done after ensuring data
security and privacy.

Requirement of the change
 The change is needed for data security so that
data does not get lost.
 Cloud platform helps in data storage much more
easier in comparison to others.
 Bi software helps to eradicate the issues of
decision making in the business.
 Data warehouse would be required for storing
bulk amount of data from a wider range of
sources.

Scope of the change
 These changes of data migration would be required
for reducing the impacts of data loss to a high level.
 The scope for implementing BI and data warehouse
would be that they would ensure better decision
making process.
 The organizational resources would be safe and
secured (Lozano, Ceulemans and Seatter 2015).
 There would not be excess requirement or costs for
data preservation.
