INTRODUCTIONIn order to operate the organization in an effective and efficient manner leading theorganization with efficient leadership qualities is very important, as a leader sets out the outlineof doing the work in line with the organization objectives and goals as well as make sure that it iscommunicated to the subordinates in the same manner without any ambiguity (Brown andTreviño, 2006). The concept can also be termed as the ability to lead a group or an organization.Further because of its rising importance in smooth functioning of the organization differentleadership styles and practices have come into force which are setting a benchmark for futurebudding leaders to follow. The following report is carried out on the analysis done on theconcept of leadership. The below mentioned objectives consists of the characteristics of effectiveleadership and further a self awareness process has been explained. ASSESSMENT 1The below mentioned are the characteristics of an effective leader Risk Taker.There are many great changes that are to be expected to be brought by the an effectiveleader and the changes are meant to be with risks. As the life passes away there are manychanges and challenges to be faced. And dealing with these changes and the challenges reflectson on how an individual can grow itself as a leader. A strong leader is very much creative andnew approaches are tried even if present has faced many failures (Brown, Treviño and Harrison,2005). Self control. Remaining calm in the worst situations and even in the worst of conflicts can beconsidered as the ability of a strong leader and also is a character trait that must be nurtured andgrown. The slogan which can be used and suits to a leader is, “When you lose your temper, youlose.” And this can also be explained as the leader is a well-defined character of those whoexpress self-control.ModestySelf-evaluation can be considered as one of the most strong characteristic of an effectiveleader.
