Coca Cola Company is an American Corporation founded in 1886 by Atlanta pharmacist John Pemberton. Originally touted as a tonic for common ailments, the company began selling syrup for local soda fountains and became successful. Under the leadership of Asa Griggs Candler, sales rose from 9000 to 370877 gallons from 1890 to 1900. The company has since expanded to over 200 countries and is one of the largest manufacturers in the US.
