M. Lloyd Walker;
In last week it has been describes that
the conflict only occurs at that time
when two or many people express
their views and there comes a
different review from a particular
person in an organization. It can be
said that the negotiation is one kind
of management of conflict and it also
can be said that the negotiation of any
project helps a lot to be useful for the
management of the conflict and
creates a winning situation (Beitler,
2016). In the present week uses of the
negotiation in the sector of private as
well as government was discussed in
that organization. In the private
organization, the negotiation played a
vital role and more is reflected
through the private sector. But in the
organization of government more
work of paper and involvement of
third party are required. In the
projects in private sector are handled
by the negotiator which can always
be handled internally with the help of
The manager of the project plays a vital
role regarding to the resolution of the
conflict because he is only the person in
the organization who can identify the
factors of the conflict and also takes huge
responsibility for initiating the process for
resolution when any conflict arises in the
project. The organization of the
government has some commands,
authorities, protocols and procedure by
comparing the organization of private. The
management of the conflict takes a lot of
time in the organization of government
(Currie, 2017).
Relationship based procurement is one of
the conflict solving strategy. The main
features of RBPs are problem group
problem solving approach, active
engagement of the owner of the project,
protocol establishment, clarifying cultural
and technical requirements, clear
expectations of the stakeholders and the
team members and clear contracting
(Jervis, 2017). The procurement process
varies from country to country. The

the negotiator such as the manager of
the project. Negotiation is something
where the parties conflicting to each
other come to agree on some specific
aspect. Avoidance of conflicts can be
a solution in management of
stakeholders. There are various
approaches in conflict management
including accommodation, avoidance,
collaboration, force and
reconciliation. The selection of the
appropriate approach is completely
dependent on situations and the
people of the organisation. A project
manager should have a clear
knowledge and understanding of the
conflict managing approach and the
consequences.
procurement process considers cultural
aspects of the country also. As RBP forms
focuses on clarifying the project
stakeholders’ expectations, the things go
easily and it leads the government to have
a stable project structure. The RBP forms
also work as a reference to make
agreement (Rahim, 2017).
The RBP Wittgenstein’s Family
Resemblance Model focuses on the aspect
of using proper and universal language. It
marks language as conflict arising factor
as the stakeholders do not use the
universal or clear language, the involved
party cannot get the meaning of their
saying properly and thus it leads them to
be involved in conflict (Lee, 2017). The
members of a project can be considered as
one family and thus they have some
similar traits among them that will lead
them to work peacefully where as the
members are from different backgrounds
and hence they also have different traits
and different opinions. The people have
different thinking and decision making
level.
A member in the team may be dominating
