Purpose of this report is analyses different issues from social media events to the organization. It will also discuss about Social Media Policy, which is for employees of Sunshine 100. It is about using of social media at workplace as well as term and conditions for employee. It will analyze a series of social media events that have had negative consequences for Sunshine 100. Social Media Policy (SMP) for the Sunshine 100 is main concern of this report. This report is based on the previous incidents in the organization, which are not good for reputation of Sunshine 100. In this report, discuss about these questions: 1.Why social media policy required for employee? 2.What the basis needs of social media at workplace? 3.Who are responsible for managing social media policy at workplace? 4.What are the reasons behind policy for social media? Uses of social media are beneficial for an organization for their business processes. It is also having few disadvantages, such as misuse of confidential information of Sunshine 100. What are the potential advantages and disadvantages for an organisation when using social media? Social media is used for communication in their social network. Now, it is also useful for business purposes. It is a fast and better service to publish product and service in market. Sunshine 100 was working for the food and health. It is also having their account on different social media to interact with the customers and it is used for getting feedbacks of customers for their products, services and processes. It is a nice facility to share their information on the social

Social media is highly integrated with the processes of companies and it is beneficial for the growth of company as well as marketing of products and services(Walden, 2016). Social media is useful for people around the globe and it is a best way to spreading information of the organization for their marketing, public relations, customer service, corporate social responsibility, internal communication and external communication. Social media is providing collaboration, engagement, participation and interactivity opportunities for company. There is a key issue in front of company that social media policy in company for all staff members. Facebook is used in the workplace by 35% of the Australians. It is beneficial for company that more than 15 million Facebook users are uses social media on monthly basis. Therefore, it is easy to share information of the new products and services of the Sunshine 100. Employees are assets of organization, but they are affecting image of organization from their post at social media. Employees are making reputation of an organization from their work and behavior. However, clients believe on the organization as a brand in the market. It is also depending on individual employee’s comments as well as behavior of the employee for their organization as well as from clients. Employees are having their personal accounts on the social sites and they post about the organization, which is a direct put impact on the organization for the unintended audiences. Social media is way to increasing the productivity of the organization in different way, such as marketing, internal communication and collaboration(Fusi & Feeney, 2018). What impact might an individual employee’s comments or behavior have on an organization’s brand in the sense that broader and unintended audiences might see it? Staff member should take permission from the director before post anything about the company, as sometimes it affecting the reputation of the company. Organization is having policies for use of social media at workplace based on the governance and affordance(Vaast & Kaganer, 2013). Social media is used for spreading information in a good way. Social media policy should cover basic and advanced rules and regulations for managing different processes of social media. It should followed by all staff. Social media should not provide data to any researcher and many others, which are using that data for their personal benefits.
