It is important for the organisation to inculcate a good communicational environment..Communication skills not only includes speaking fluently, rather it involves body language,presentation, active listening, context awareness while communicating in the work place. Interpersonal and intra personal skills are two types of communication skill that an individual’sneeds to be incorporate. Communicational skills are not only related to the verbalcommunication but is also associated with written communication. Good communicational skillshelps individual in making their day to day work easier. This report highlights the importance ofcommunication skills in the work place. It also showcases clarity of expressions helps individualin making their communication skills effective, professional and clear.Communicational issues at the workplaceCommunication skill is the act of exchange of thoughts or ideas through gestures, signs,signals, speech or writing. There several problems that are associated with workplacecommunication skills. It may sometimes lead to stress, loss of jobs, slow progress of anindividual as well as organisation. These issues arise due to language barriers as large mix ofpeople working at the same spot. Because they come from different cultures so there can beconflict of ideas. Some of the workplace issues are as followsLanguage barriers: Many people come from different backgrounds hence faces a lot ofproblem in communicating well. Their gestures, signs and symbols are different and itcreates a confusion in the minds of people. Language barriers are one of the biggestproblem in the workplace of multinational companies.Lack of presentation skill: It is not only important for the leaders to have goodpresentation skill but also for the employees to have better presentation skills. It helpsindividual in expressing their thoughts. This helps in finding out new leaders in the multi-dimensional areas.Confidence: Due to lack of content on the specific topics sometimes there is a problem ofclear thoughts and hence leading to reduction in confidence. It can be reduced due toinferiority complex, lack of knowledge about language that is prevalent in organisations1
