INTRODUCTION
Oxfam is a collaboration of twenty non-governmental organizations, which works
together to end poverty at international level (92 countries). Headquarter of Oxfam is located in
Oxford, England, and founded in 1942 (Oxfamamerica.org, 2018). In 1963, Oxfam was initially
starts from Canada. Winnie Byanyima is the Executive Director of Oxfam international, with the
vision of – World without poverty (Oxfam International, 2018).
Oxfam works with partner organizations for disadvantaged citizens to end the injustices
that cause poverty. The state of poverty is not the same for every person. This may contrasts by
varying over the consumption level of individual in various assorted nation by the market
exchange rate. Since cross-nations have their own particular distinctive purchasing power.
Sometimes extremely complicated causes are the main problem with poverty.

rights and escalate social status.
Three billion people of the world population lives on less than $2.50 a day. According to
the report of UNICEF, 22,000 children die every day due to poverty. (Do something.org, 2018).
Oxfam is carrying a strong vision, where they want to see the world without poverty. In addition,
people should be appreciated and treated equally, as a voter availing their free rights, and can
make strong impact on those decisions, which affects their life (Oxfam International, 2018).
Oxfam is devoted to generating the long-run solutions to overcome inequality and
poverty among the underprivileged citizens. Oxfam conducts such programs, which combines
basic human rights, ecological sustainable development, and high-level education for
communities. It also gives sponsorship support and encouragement, solving conflicts and
providing best assistance to the affected ones.
For the entire world, Oxfam wisely looks forward and works in same manner so that
people can live with their self-esteem. They can meet with their basic needs, feel respected and
valued in the society and can have strong positive control on their own lives. Oxfam is sensibly
making sustainable development program. Like - giving assistance for all the uncertain
emergencies, educational research, and organize certain campaigns to make this world more

education to their children. Same as our families depends upon the various educational
institutions to get the decent jobs so that we can raise up our families too. Then routinely they

faith that society is covers certain social agreements, which are best for the entire society. This
stands separately from two main sociological perceptions: Symbolic internationalism and
Conflict theory. Functionalism is the reason, which stops people for being encouraged and

food packets, sanitation, and other requirements for long-term protection to the people
affected by disasters.
 All the natural resources are so much significant for success and prosperity of poor and
disadvantaged citizens. They also have right of availing their fair share. Oxfam conduct a
number of operation with governments, universal associations, and other establishments
for more pleasant land arrangements and activity on climate change.
 In this world, almost one billion people sleep hungry so to stop hunger among people
Oxfam works with some global food suppliers. They want to balance the unfair food
system so that everyone can grow in a better appropriate way.

Oxfam is an association of twenty non-governmental organizations, which works in a
systematic manner to end poverty at global level. Oxfam is an organization challenges the
