Introduction
• Clinical simulation refers to the experiences of practical learning designed to
provide students with an exposure to broad range of clinical scenarios which may
be found at work place.
• In clinical simulation lab sessions, health care students are provided with the
opportunity to develop their decision making skills associated with clinical
practice in a life like, controlled environment which do not pose any risk to
patient.

Clinical simulation
• Clinical simulation lab sessions administer learning opportunities to students to
enhance the quality and safety of patient care.
• This session helps in replicating the health care scenarios of real world in the
surroundings which is safe for experimental and education purposes.

Nursing Interventions Performed in SimLabs
• In the SimLab, I am provided with the learning regarding skills or interventions
required to provide safety and quality care of patients. I got knowledge regarding
various interventions that are associated with various medical issues including
Myocardial Infraction, Post Tracheostomy care, Hypoglycaemia etc. By
undertaking the clinical simulation session, I get to know about various
intervention associated with the issue.
