Question 1
Part a
It is examined that there are major two kinds of computers included in
the system such as fixed program computers and stored program
computers. The Von-Neumann architecture and stored program work where
machine code instructions and collected data are recorded. It is observed
that Von-Neumann architecture is utilized for machine purposes in which
instructions are held in a similar memory location which is defined as main
memory or RAM (Huang, 2015). On the other hand, store program
architecture is mainly utilized for specialist embedded computer schemes
where optimum speed is the priority of the network. This is the concept
behind stored-program architecture in motion. The below figure shows the
basic structure of the Von Neumann architecture:

It is observed that there are major three units involved in the Von
Neumann architecture which are highlighted below:
The main memory unit
The central processing unit
The input and output device
Part b
It is argued that Moore's law completely depends on Moore's
expectation that the number of sections on a computing chip would twofold
at the regular time period. In which Moore anticipated that the various
transistors set on a solitary square contain two-fold at a basic time interval.
From a recent study, it is found that the key implication of Moore’s Law is
that registration of devices keeps on demonstrating exponential progress in
unpredictability (Theis, & Wong, 2017). One of the essential impacts of this
law is that computer networks continue to indicate exponential growth in
complexity that also lead to performance-related issues. The extensive
effects of Moore's law are realized in the development of cloud subtracting
and social media networks that need increased computer abilities. In the
future generation, Moore's Law will impact on the performance of
computing networks and produce barriers in the data communication
systems. Therefore, it is important to understand and review the concept
behind Moore’s law and resolve risk factors effectively (Mack, 2015).
Question 2
Part a
In the context of 4-bit signal, the values of decimal equivalents and
signed magnitude can be analyzed easily and the below table shows these
