1.0. Project definition and scope:
The deliverables that are provided in the project within the project scope are the
followings and this is considered throughout the project execution.
Technical document: Provides detailed analysis regarding technical aspects of the
project. In this report details about data acquired in testing process is presented along
with overview of technical test.
Quality review report: quality measures taken in the project are described in this
report. Here review of raw materials, design quality standards and quality audit results
are presented
Project activity lists: detailed outline of activities that are considered in the project is
clearly defined and presented for approval. this is done to ensure that there are no
issue in project planning and scheduling
Drawing document: A detailed design approach for constructing the constructing the
building is presented in this document. This drawings are about brief outline about
project activities and presented before project execution is started
Site examination report: Before commencement of project, a detailed site
investigation is performed which helps to identify if there is any associated risk with
the construction site. This is in accordance with project scope to deliver the project
while ensuring safety and security of construction workers and project team in the
construction site
Progress status: Progress report is provided to the project owner. It consists of detailed
information regarding project execution status according to the project schedule. This
report is sent to the supervisor, clients and any other important stakeholders involved
with the project execution

Completed product: this the most important and desired deliverables that is
considered in this project. an proper developed building with approved budget and
schedule will delivered to the client so that it meet their requirements and ensure
stakeholder satisfactions. The project is not completed before the delivery of the final
product that is the building in this context is ensured and delivered to the stakeholders
2.0. Major challenges:
2.1. Challenges regarding architecture discipline:
Architects are often provided basic overview of construction project and based on that
they are required to provide design plan for the project. Now it is often seen that,
these requirements are either not clearly addressed or lacks proper integration (Molavi
and Barral 2016). This might considered as a design challenge for construction
project.
Often architect firms does not evaluate their work force and hence they do not have
clear overview about their strength and weakness. This lead to an agreement, which is
not effective at all. Firms often does not have that much technical expertise that the
project or the design requires (Norouzi et al. 2015). This means an construction
design which lacks technical insights
Often communication becomes a problem when engaging designer in project planning
phase. This affects proper and strategic evaluation of project requirements. As a
result, designers comes up with designs that are either difficult to execute or requires
changes. However, this becomes extremely difficult when the project is the
construction phase.
2.2. Challenges for construction industry:

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Construction project has various issues such as inadequate labour sourcing, material wastage,
and injury at the construction sites are some of the most common issues identified in this
industry (Sears et al. 2015). These issues are described in details in this context:
There is a lack of coordination between labour demand and labour supply. This has
affected the construction industry a lot. This might affect this project too. Lack of
labour supply along with the increase in labour cost makes construction project
difficult to execute (Harrison and Lock 2017). This is a potential issue for this
building project in this context.
Wastage of material is a common challenge in construction project. Some of the
reasons are lack of proper storage facility, material handling and lack of proper
knowledge for construction material management (Burtonshaw-Gunn 2017).
During construction of the building, labours might face injury, which has a diverse
effect on this project. Project delay, legal cases are some of the challenges that are
relevant in the construction industry as well as in this project.
2.3. Challenges in project management:
Project scope is not properly interpreted by the project team, which leads to scope
creep. This is often a significant issue in project management (Savoini and Lafhaj
2017). Integrating suggestions from stakeholders along throughout the project
execution is a challenging job for the project manager. This often leads to a lack of
stakeholder satisfaction and in some ways often delay project execution.
One of the major problem in constriction project management is schedule overflow,
which means project execution is inconsistent with defined schedule provided in
project planning (Owusu, Chan and Shan 2019). Delay in schedule affects project
budget leading to budget overflow as well.
