Human resources are theimportant human capital of the business. It has been observed that the problem of employeeturnover gets enhanced in the retail sector because of many reasons for which lack ofemployee satisfaction is one of the key reasons. Core LiteratureIn the opinion of Zameer and et.al. (2018), employee satisfaction is highly important as itimproves the overall performance and productivity of the business organisations. Satisfiedemployees are found to be more productive and enthusiastic. According to Suri andPetchsawang (2018), a business organisation should always be responsive to increasingemployee satisfaction. It is also important to keep the employees motivated so that they canincrease their satisfaction levels (Suri & Petchsawang, 2018). According to Alefari and et.al.(2018), employee retention is one of the important aspects which is directly related toemployee satisfaction. Satisfied employees are more likely to retain in their organisations fora long tenure (Alefari, et.al., 2018). In the view of Ghazi, Shahzada, & Khan (2013), anorganisation should analyse Herzberg’s Two Factor theory to understand the major hygienefactors and motivating factors on motivators which influence employee job satisfaction to alarge extent (Ghazi, et al., 2013).Aim and objectivesThe main aim of the intended study is to identify the key factors which influence employeesatisfaction at the workplace. The proposed study will be conducted on one of the leadingorganisations on the international platform, Walmart UK. The organisation has been facingthe challenge of employee turnover and poor employee satisfaction in the last few years. ObjectivesTo identify and analyse the major drivers of employee satisfaction at the workplace.To identify the key factors which influence employee satisfaction at the workplace ofWalmart UK. To come up with some of the important recommendations.
