INTRODUCTION
Hospitality industry operates with the perspective to serve customers in an effective
manner. It is the fastest growing industry which includes the services like lodging, restaurants,
cruise line and many others. This sector is very complex and keeps on changing its business
activities to serve the large number of customers. Hilton Worldwide is the largest hospitality
companies in context to the British hospitality industry sector in the UK. This is one of the most
preferable brands among the entire hospitality chains. The report discuss about the structure of
the current scale, scope and diversity of the hospitality industry. Along with this, organizational
structure is being discussed with the assessment of the role of hospitality related organizations

manage the entire operations. The structure is very large as it comprises of different types of
services and other entertainment facilities in order to help the guests to enjoy their valuable stay.
For instance; Hilton Worldwide has more than 4,600 hotels, resorts and time share properties in
the 100 countries and territories.
The scope is very large as stated by British Hospitality Association. Hospitality industry
comprises of different commercial sectors such as hotels, restaurants, fast food chains outlets,
pubs, cruise lines and many others. Along with this, it includes the welfare sector like education
institutions, hospitals and others (Boella and Goss-Turner,2013). The hospitality industry
operates for tourists to provide large number facilities and make their stay more comfortable and
relaxing. Hence, Hilton Worldwide has the greater scope as it requires efficient workforce to
manage the entire operations and provide guests with all the amenities and other services.
