This article discusses contemporary issues in health and social care, with a specific focus on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Nigeria. Different perspective on specific issues
Female Genital Mutilation is a kind of ritual in Nigeria. Regarding to
this activity they get hurt young girls and women. It directly affects its health
and physical development activity. Guardian newspapers make report on these
running conditions on Nigerian girls. They tell people about many women's
who faced this difficult situations in the society. England and wales also
performed this process in economy. Thus, after making or publishing this
report people get aware and raise their sound against this condition. 160 group
of people and Muslim women's network in UK, include Somali Braveness
community etc. were against to this process of Nigeria. In 2014 reflect 125
million girls and women get affected by this wrong activity, that change society
thoughts and pressurised them to make decision against this exercise.
Prime minister Theresa take action according to this situation and
make law to stop this crime. It is the process of abusing child and women.
Thus, for this government finish this process because it was not acceptable in
Nigeria. During at FGM 10 year old girls has died for knowing these situations
through media people shows its anger on government that forced them to
focused on this topic. Thus, after focusing in some countries finished FGM
process.
Monitor perspectives and changes over time
Nigeria FGM process is very dangerous for women's or young girls, it affects
their health and create physical problems. Through using media source government and
society monitor this activity in all over the world. Media helps to aware people against
crime like FGM. Economy do not have any knowledge of this process in Nigeria upon
the women, they are unknown about the difficult situations that every age of female
faced on this country. At this time media played its responsibility through provide all
the information in front of other countries and their government, that make all of them
shocked.
Thus, after have understanding of women situation in this country, people raise
their sound against this crime and request government ton make such policies and
strategy or laws to this risky process. It will change people thoughts against women of
Nigeria and they get emotionally attached with them. Other country heath and social
care centre or charitable trust helps these female through provide foods and medicines
for saving their life's in this situation. Society need to spread this news in overall the
world to aware more people than now. It also changed economy attitude or behaviour
towards the women who face many problems in the whole world under the pressure of
rituals.
