HARDWARE SPECIFICATIONS and why we chose these?
Monitor: Dell Ultra Sharp UP2414Q is the company’s best in class 24 inch ultra HD
monitor. Since Director’s requirement involves editing videos files so having an UHD
display will provide a better precision. It has IPS panel technology to deliver an
exquisite 3,840-by-2,160 resolution image with accurate colors and solid grayscale
performance. It's also equipped with a fully adjustable stand, an auto-rotate feature, and
a high-speed USB port, though none of the USB ports are side-mounted for easy
access.
Scanner: Canon image Formula DR-C125.It is one of the best budget Scanner. It
provides extraordinarily fast text recognition for scanning to searchable PDF file.
Maximum Optical Resolution: 600 pixels.
This will allow the director the easily scan the documents, photos etc and save them is
desired formats
Webcam: Logitech HD Pro C920 records in full 1080p at 30 frames per second.
Many webcams advertised as 1080p HD webcams have a low frame rate that causes
the video skip. This isn't the case with the Logitech HD Pro C920, an HD webcam that
outperforms the rest. With its crisp and clean picture quality, you can record and video
chat in true high definition. It is loaded with features, built for portability and designed to
work on nearly any PC. This will allow director to participate in online video
conferences, web courses and forums via skype and other IMs.
Camcoder : The Canon PowerShot S110 is a pocket-sized camera that offers a lot of
professional features. Canon S110 features a newly designed high-sensitivity 12.1
megapixel 1/1.7-type CMOS sensor, 5x zoom lens with a focal range of 24-140mm and
fast maximum aperture of f/2.0, DIGIC 5 processor, fast autofocusing of 0.2 seconds,
and a 3.0 inch touchscreen LCD display with a resolution of 460K dots. The S110 also
offers a maximum ISO of 12800 at full resolution, built-in wi-fi connectivity, GPS
functionality via pairing with a Smartphone, 1080p movie recording at 24fps.
This will allow the director to easily take HD videos and photos and edit the same.

Printer - Canon Pixma MX535 is best suited for colored photo printing as demanded by
the director. Specs include Color inkjet multifunction printer that prints at 4800 x 1200
dpi max print resolution. It has USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Apple Air Print, Google
Cloud support as well.
Speakers - Logitech Z623 Speakers is the best budget speaker. Since participation is
needed only for the conferencing it is a good match. It has one of the best-sounding 2.1-
channel PC speaker sets. The 7.8 by 5.6 by 5.4-inch stereo speakers (HWD), which are
angled upward for proper desktop listening, are shorter and wider than most
desktop speakers.
External HDD - The Seagate Backup Plus Desktop Drive (5TB) is incredibly spacious,
reasonably fast, and since it has a class-leading 5 terabytes of storage. The cost is
really less and high rotation speed of 5400 rotations per minute.
Modem Router – High bandwidth and secured router is a must to get an access to the
internet. NETGEAR - N600 Dual-Band Wireless-N Router supports true dual-band and
offers fast wireless performance and long range. WNDR3400 offers all-around great
wireless performance on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz band
Processor - Intel Core i7-5960X. 8 true cores and 8 hyper threaded. 40 PCI-E lanes.
Makes compressing video and audio files a breeze. It has a huge 20MB of cache. And
base clock of 3GHz and a Turbo speed of up to 3.5GHz.
Motherboard –The Intel® Desktop Board DH77EB offers a good match for the
requirements. The board is featured with DVI-I, HDMI* and Display Port* connectors
and supports dual independent display for processors with Intel® HD Graphics.
The board has LGA1155 socket that supports our chosen processor and Support for
DDR3 16001/1333/1066 MHz DIMMs which are expandable up to 32 GB.
RAM –High speed RAM is needed for improved performance. Kingston DD3 16 GB ram
is an option that has high processing speed and reliable life.
Graphics Card –XFX Radeon R7-265 2GB, Core Edition should be used for editing of
video and photos. It is a good choice of value for money terms. This GPU comes with a
256-bit memory interface and a speed of 900 MHz,
USER TYPES
Three user accounts should be configured:

1. ADMIN: It is the master access that will control everything. Giving access to
other user accounts is one of the primary tasks.
2. REGISTERD: User specific access to the employees who are a part of the
company. They can access specific programs.
3. GUEST: No scanning or printing privilege to these users. These users will only
be able to read and access limited information available in public domain.
