managing people is also seems to be important tasks. Easy jest airlines is low cost airline,
operates at domestic and international services. This report explain about the SWOT and
PESTEL of airline. Also, evaluate the changes factor that has influenced the opportunities and

INTRODUCTION
Business can be defined as enterprising or organization which entity engaged with
industries, commercial or professional activities. The term business also refers to the organized
activities and efforts of individuals for producing the goods and services in having profits (Saez
and Zucman, 2020). Easy Jet is multinational airline. It basically operated at domestic and
international scheduled services and have their operated in various countries. This report explain
about the SWOT and PESTEL or airline organization along with this changes in PESTEL factor
that has influenced the opportunities and threat in business. Furthermore, airline strengths for
negating threat and weakness affecting their opportunities. Also, evaluate different leadership
styles and CSR, response and obligation in organization.

The Easy Jet airline company offers an air source of transport to their freight and
passengers. This airline's organization used aeroplanes and aircraft for operating more services.
Here, it has been discussed the SWOT analysis of Easy Jet:-
Strengths:-
Airlines are one of the high profitable earning organization. The Easy Jet have their
income sources higher along with this level have been maintained. Growing towards the tourism
industry has been also rising for the past decades and more than half (SWOT Analysis of the

airlines for saving their time. It means that Easy Jet airlines providing them better services and
fastest mode of transport.
Weakness:-
Easy Jet has slow infrastructure with having their own major problem. Moreover,
technological development, in making their more aeroplanes but as going more ground towards
the same old airports. The airline companies send more reminder to their customer or call before
the flights arrive. For making sure that passenger should be on board, and lower the loss rate.
Competitive market have been increased through which Easy Jet airline companies have to
reduce their travelling fare.
Opportunities:-
The management of Easy Jet industry is being with very profitable business and been
growing over sometime. They would be had high capital and the company can easily improve
their various function as well. Easy Jet using huge of technology development for various levels
through which they have their own market place. Market expansion has given more opportunities
and expand geographical market into new airports and for targeting more people.
Threats:-
Global economic crisis of all the countries goes down. The tourism industry is declining
and people are using more airlines for travelling as per their main business purposes (Matovic,
2020). Easy Jet airlines have government intervention for reducing high prices from which
company are paying huge amount of loss.
The various airline industry are facing some issues while by including high operational
costs, demanding clientele and regulatory framework. Here, PESTEL analysis states about the
strategies' method which have made their external factor more affecting business:-
Political:-
Easy Jet operating their business in various countries with having strict regulation for
airline industry. This can also cause mainly high risk because of having more deaths and
accidents due to come irreparable damages. This is a major obstacle as airlines will start losing
customers in areas that have high-security threats. Several policies are need to be changed for
having their protect for passenger more than having their aviation industry. Easy Jet factor and
insecurity been more effected by particular countries that could always their negative impact on
business.

This factor in Easy Jet have their deep influenced on the business. The most recent
economic have been effected by Covid-19 as this make their lower travel with the lowest period
(Dehtyarova and Dehtiarova, 2018). Moreover, Easy Jet struggling more with increasing labour
demand from the part of workforce. In this both the premium and travelling declined their
business.
Social:-
Easy Jet have created various social values such as making their more other business as
the consumer are bringing their more changes. In addition, to meet with the changing demands of
consumer Easy Jet need to make their more changes with having lower prices or providing
extended services at low fares. Another factor that could be affected while making the proper use
of Skype features or holding at conference call instead of travelling.
Technological:-
Easy Jet airline have need to make their more changes in technological through which
they can also have their more customer and make them more satisfied with providing them hue
maintain of satisfaction. Passengers mostly prefer to access their booking and check in services

provided more speed and fuel economy to business.

Easy Jet airlines might be had their more benefits in fuel expenditure, and they are
required to invest more in environment friendly and fuel efficient. This process can also have
high amount of finance 'green flying'. As airline cannot make their even compromise because
even passengers are held accountable for their carbon footprint.
Legal:-
It seems to be as economic factor, legal factor also are hold special importance for having
their more external analysis in business. There are many regulation which must need to followed
by the Easy Jet while by offering required airline to offer sales travel along with the high quality
of services.

towards the political factor (Shtal and et.al., 2018). While by developing with more technology it
might be seemed to opportunities that they have adopted advance technology and make their
customer satisfaction. Due to having high population it makes their growth in graph as well as
developing their more airlines business. Reducing the fair prices that can also have their
economic development from which they earn more customer. As one of the biggest advantage of
this company is that they do not compromise with their customer services and they want to give
best services whenever any passenger travels in their airlines.
The another opportunity of this company is that it is a strong brand name through and
they have win the hearts of their customers by providing best services which will help the
company to minimise the threat of competition, as the new entrants can become a tough
competition for the Easy-jet (Zahari and et.al, 2019). Easy jet get many economic opportunities
from the governments as well, being an iconic brand government also support them and
liberalise the licensing policy for the company so that they can increase their rout and exceed
their flights in different countries as well so the government will also get higher return and by
doing so company is reducing their economic threats. Except these, company uses different
technologies so that they can provide fast and advanced services to their customers. The
company try to reduce the accidents and harmful events so that the research and development
department o0f the company is trying to find safest transportation so that, Easy-jet can provide
safe and speedy journey to the customers apart from this company is working to provide security
and safety there for company is focusing on the training of its employees so that they get
potential and ability to face any king of challenge by doing so company is trying to reduce the
risk of accidents and unexpected events. The another threat which the company is facing is
from environment it is very often when this airline faces, tornados, heavy storms and strong
winds due to which they have to cancel their flights thus will impact the profitability of the
company as they have to refund to the customer and also it put negative impact on the image of

the company. So the bad whether is big issue in front of this company but with the help of
advance technology, Easy jet try to overcome this. Another threat which the company is facing is
that, the aviation business is a seasonal business because people don't travel throughout a year, so
they usually travel in holidays and vacation so0 the company get a chance to earn higher profit in
the duration of holidays but this is not enough for the company as the expenses of fuel is higher
so company is doing efforts to attract the customer on weekdays and off season by giving various
discounts and offers so that customer take their flights on weekdays, apart from this one of the
biggest threat in front of the company is pandemic, due to the lock-down all the airports and
airlines remain shut for months but now the company is trying to overcome the losses and Easy-
jet has started different flights for different countries so that the company can overcome the
losses.
3. Comparing and contrasting different style of leadership and provide appropriate leadership
style to the company.
Leadership style:
Leadership style refers to the behaviour of people towards their team members by
directing, guiding, managing and motivating the workforce of the organization.
There are many leadership style some of them are as follows:
Autocratic leadership style and democratic leadership style:
In autocratic leadership style, decisions are taken by higher authority only. Leaders under
this style does not include their subordinates in the decision-making process (Alonso‐Almeida,
Perramon and Bagur‐Femenias, 2017). This is suitable when complex decisions have to be taken
which require to be taken by experienced workforce only. Employees get demotivated under
such leadership because they think that company is not involving them while making decisions
related to them. Whereas democratic leadership style means when leaders involve employees in
the decision-making process. Through this company will get innovative and creative ideas from
their young employees. It motivates employees because they think that company is valuing them
by taking their views and opinions before taking any decision.
Transactional and transformational leadership style:
Transactional leadership style works with process, and they carry strict management
structure. Here the leaders control their team members and focus only on achieving company's
goals. The leaders tend to have strong personality and take important decisions. This leadership

receive rewards after completion of the given task. So leaders should set such expectation which

transformational leadership style inspire their team members to follow them. For this leaders do
cooperation, coordination and communication. This leadership style believe that work can be
made done by employees by only motivating them and not by forcing them. Leaders who follow
this style trust their employees and influence them in the positive manner.
Laissez faire and strategic leadership style:
in laissez-faire leadership style, leaders have trust on their employees and also focus on
smooth running of the company. They work on empowering the workforce by believing in them
and give their employees authority to work however they wanted to work (Fiaz, Su and Saqib,
2017). It means that employees can tend to take wrong direction because of no direction given by
the leaders. This style is mostly appropriate in such teams where team members are skilled, have
knowledge and experience and also highly motivated. Whereas strategic leadership means where
leaders are more concerned about company's operations and growth. They take all burden on
themselves so that working conditions of the organization can remain stable. It is adopted by
many companies because by strategic thinking many employees can be supported.
Coaching leadership and affiliative leadership style:
Under coaching leadership style, leaders acts as coach and giving guidance to their team
members so that they can complete the task effectively (Łukowski, 2017). Leaders identify
people's potential and motivate them to work hard. Leaders under this style are very much open
for any suggestions from their team members. They provide direction to the employees so that
objectives can be achieved. Whereas in affiliative style, leaders believe that employees comes
first and priority must be given to them. Leader builds personal relations with employees. They
support their team members emotionally and fulfil its needs.
Coaching leadership style will be chosen for easy jet because it is mostly suitable for
today's organization which often have flatter structure. With the remote working and changing
working hours, it is helpful in growing flexible and fertile culture at workplace. Here leaders
tends to increase employees engagement and motivates them by giving coaching to them.

Democratic leadership style:
Democratic leadership style is appropriate for Easy jet because it involves their
employees while making important decisions which can be related to employees or organization.
If employees are involved in decision-making process then that will increase their motivation
and which will be helpful in increasing the productivity. It is also helpful in boosting employee
morale. Workforce will feel that they are valued by the company and company will also get
innovative and new ideas from their staff. They give responsibilities to their workers so that they
can be answerable for the work done by them. It enhances team spirit and build cooperation
amongst the team. It is also helpful in the growth and development of the employees. Leaders
who follow this style gives full freedom to their employees and also give right to speech. Here
leaders don't force their workers rather they guide them because they know that when employees
are handled properly then only they will work effectively.
Laissez faire leadership style:
Laissez-faire is the delegative leadership style in which leaders allow their team members
to take the decisions. It facilitates personal growth because workers taken the decisions by
themselves. It helps in the growth and development of the workforce. It brings innovative and
creativity at workplace. As employees take decisions to carry work by innovating manner which
will reduce costs and increase the productivity (van Assen, 2018). It helps in quick decision-
making as workers under this have autonomy to take decisions. Fast decisions are made because
employees need not to be wait for approval by their higher authority. This is applicable when
team members are efficient and possess skills to carry business activities. Workers of Easy jet
have skills and knowledge so that is why leaders of easy jet can use this leadership style. Leaders
listen to the issues and problems of their workforce and also try to solve them so that sense of
motivation always remain in the employees. Leaders under this style should monitor their team
performance and also take feedbacks regularly.
5 Responsibility, response, obligation, and social responsibility of Easy jet
The main objective of Easy-jet is to become a market leader in the aviation industry.
Apart from this it is their responsibility and aim top make the travel easy and affordable fr its
customers (Easy Jet , 2020 ). It is the obligation of Easy jet that this company want to decrease
its charges on check-in, baggage, and snakes so that the customer can easily afford the cost of

Easy-jet. Apart from this company is fully indulge in the social responsibility, and working for
the welfare of the society and also it wants to do something for the environment. The main
motive of easy-jet is to reduce the air traffic so that they can protect the environment. As
environment is their propriety therefore this company ambitious towards reducing the footprint
in the air and in the ground. Apart from this, Easy jet is totally against of bribe and corruption,
for that it has made different policies to avoid such activities in their organization. To avoid
bribery in their organisation, Easy jet has has imposed compulsory Anti- Bribery and different
training exams which all the employees have to give and it is must for the higher management as
in many cases higher authority and management found indulge in such briber and cases of
corruption, when the management or any employees found taking bribe form any passenger it
directly impact the reputation of the company (Park, 2019).
For the development of the society, Easy Jet is in support of international human right
standard. So this airline always protect the right of its employees as well as its customers. If the
employees is facing any kind of issues at the work place they can easily lodge their complaint
ton the higher authority and management and company will work on this and try to reduce the
problem on the other hand as the main objective of Easy Jet is to provide best services to their
customers, and if there customer face any kind of problem during travelling it is the
responsibility of Easy-jet to bring quick solution and it do not harm the right of any person and
it do not let its any employee to get exploited at the work place.
Besides this, Easy jet provides equal career opportunity to those who want to begin their
career with Easy jet, apart from this Easy jet do not encourage any kind of discrimination and
favouritism at the time of interview or do not follow any kind of harassment which is based on
the colour, age, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation and social status (Anwar and et.al,
2017). If anyone have proper qualification, knowledge and fulfils all the eligibility then only they
can work with this company.
So the company has set good ethics and also working on them because they don't want to
compromise with their image thus they are providing fair treatment to the employees so that no
one feel partiality the work place and get equal chance to get promotional and different growth
opportunity as well as company is doing many different activities to attract the potential
customers for that company is giving different discount vouchers when any passenger made
bookings from the online website of the company (Ringham and et.al 2018). When the company

opportunities. Leadership styles in organization also make their management to be strong for
which they can become more stables and make huge income. Responsibility, response and
