Earlycognitive development is one of the major factors that controls the performance and progress of achild in the later stage in life. Early child care setup learning also contributes to children’s healthand nutrition status. Here we will cover the “Wintergrove Education and Care Service (WECS)”and its efforts in enriching children’s lives, community and preserving nature.2b) A profile of Winter grove Education and Care Service (WECS) and its usersWECS provides spacious, well lit and well ventilated buildings, with a roofed play areaand adequate bathrooms. Separate kitchen and store area. Contain 4 buildings spread over thetown with capacity of 3 rooms in each building. Maximum number of children that a room canaccommodate would be 18. Age is the most important factor for enrolling children. WECSrecommended age group is 3 Yrs – 5 Yrs, however there are exceptions as well. WECSmaintains ratio of educators to children equals to 9:1.

5INCORPORATING A SCHOOLAll the educators are diploma holders and experienced in the early childhood sector.Along with the educators we have the ancillary support staffs as well to facilitate the smootherservices, for each building there is a cook, administrative assistant, cleaner and security. All ofthe centres operate five days a week and all of them remain open from the morning 7 AM till 5PM in the evening.2c) A Statement of Philosophy and PrinciplesPhilosophyWECS is committed to services which reflect its core values of leadership, integrity,respect, innovation and teamwork. WECS believes that all children has a right to experience beststart in life and hence WECS is engaged in facilitating warm, safe, secure education and careservices to the community keeping care for environment which also foster quality learning andcharacteristics development of a child.The PrinciplesProviding education by best practices that build a solid foundation for children’s lives,preserving their unique family and cultural identities and increasing their personalabilities.Learning approach – Play Based, which connects the children with nature and makesthem confidant learner and effective communicators.Connecting with the individual families if a child to acknowledge that the families playsignificant role in children’s life and in their overall development.

SWOT analysis of the child care setupThe internal and external factors have great affect on the child care setup they can beevaluated by finding out the strengths, weakness, opportunity and threat for the business concern.There are certain external as well internal factors which affects the running of this child caresetup they are being discussed below:Strengths: The child care set up serves people of different age group both by providing jobs toeducator and other staffs and providing care to the small children.The child care is such a vital part of life that it has a strong association with the public.Affordable child care fee structure.Regular staff survey providing assurance of good service towards the children.Proper Partnership with staff and management.Weakness:Limited Growth on the basis of adults it only provide education facility to smallchildrenIncrease of competition with other profit making organisation.
