Introduction
Aesthetics is related with concern about nature and appreciation of beauty. It is a
principle which deals with questions of beauty as well as artistic taste. Now, aesthetics has
become an emerging issue due to rise in a cautious nature of people about their health and skin.
In current time, people are highly conscious about their skin, beauty and looks. Each and every
person wishes to look attractive (Karki and Muthukumar, 2020). For this purpose, sometimes,
they also use cosmetics products which are made with chemical ingredients. These products and
treatment might hamper the skin of a person. The present report is based on a contentious issue
which based on Aesthetics. Here, the topic of Australian at risk of cosmetic injection
contamination is going to address in the given report. Here, rise of infections in beauty salons
due to use of cosmetic products is also going to discuss in the following analysis.
Main Body
Literature Review
According Pickstone, (2020) Aesthesis refers to pleasant, positive as well as attractive
appearance of an individual and object. It is about to seek for beauty in each and every object
whether it is a person or thing. In simple words, Aesthesis is used for something which is
pleasant in appearance. It is concern with the philosophy which deals with art, beauty, taste and
appreciation within beauty of world. It is stated that Aesthesis has been changed over the period
of time. Previously, beauty was considered as subjective or human truth. However, the meaning
of beauty has changed over the period of time. now, physical appearance is given importance.
Hence, people used to apply filters on photos while posting it over social media. The concept of
Aesthesis is supposed to be associated with creativity & uniqueness. It is about the things which
seem beautiful thus one wants to incorporate it in life. But now, Aesthesis has become a major
issue as people are more conscious about their beauty and looks.
As per the view point of Schmid-Hempel, (2021), In Australia, people have been adopted
a new meaning of beauty which is more artificial than real. It is seen that each and every person
have wish to look attractive. Rather stay comfortable in natural look, they wish to get more
beautiful skin without any marks, acne or any other spot. Aesthesis is related with the concept of

beauty, art and creativity. However, people merely consider a single meaning of Aesthesis which
is pleasant appearance. They associate aesthesis with external beauty thus try a lot of ways to
look beautiful. They are not likely to even think about the after effect of such chemical less
products. Here, people just want to get better looks in present time and for that they are even
ready to apply harmful ingredients on skin. Cosmetic procedure is also used by a lot of
Australians to get rid with scars, marks, wrinkles and other such issues. After reaching at a
certain age, it is obvious to develop ageing signs. In elder age, people start to get wrinkles, scars,
dark circles, pigmentation and more. And, there are several cosmetic treatments available which
guaranteed to rejuvenated the skin and makes a person look younger. This treatment might prove
helpful but also has a lot of side-effects. Here, a complete procedure is followed while treating
the skin related issue. For this, blood of patient is drawn and then platelets are separated and it
injected again in face. This kind of treatment has a lot of major effect such as itching on face,
rashes, pimples and more. In certain cases, face get swelling and it might hamper to eyes and
other sensitive areas as well (
My face became infected again and again': Australians at risk of
cosmetic injection contamination, 2017). There are certain cases in Australia where people faced
sever issue due to use of cosmetic injections.
According to Landry, (2019), the study of cosmetic physicians college of Australasia
(CPCA), Australians spend nearly $ 1 billion over cosmetic procedures each and every year.
Here, the industry is really lucrative so certain dentist also offers cosmetic injections. The
injections used in treatment are performed in a risky and unregulated society. Bacteria can easily
get enter into the skin due to poor infection controls of cosmetic injections. After entrance of
bacteria, it increases with great pace thus body start and person might have major issues in future
period of time.
As per view point of Michon, (2021), In home beauty salon, it is important to take care
about hygiene and cleanliness in order to prevent the spread of infection. Beauty salons are
considered as one of the places where people often visit with an aim to get good looks. Beauty
Salons are considered as the major source of spread of viral, bacteria and other fungal diseases.
Tools used in beauty salons contain bacteria which might put adverse impact over users. Concept
of Salon is linked with the beauty. It is an establishment which deals with cosmetic products in
order to improve appearance of a person (Juksu and et. al., 2020). Here, they use cosmetic

products which contains harmful chemicals for improving skin, hair of customers. Salons offer
range of services such as nail care, hairdressing, waxing and more. The major concern which is
associated with saloons is the use of tools and equipments that might spread infection from one
person to other person within no time. Ingredients use in beauty salons becomes a cause of
disease which can spread from one person to another.
As per the view point of Auffarth, (2020), Hygience and cleanliness in Salon is one of the
major issues that cause harm to people. Here, physical and chemical based methods are used to
sterilize tools which further give rise to infectious disease. There are different tools such as UV
sterilizer and more are used salon which need to disinfect properly before using next time
(Fakhreddine and et. al., 2021). Most of the salons are even not familiar with the proper way to
using and disinfecting the tools & equipments used in salons. Therefore, hygiene and cleanliness
within beauty salons has become a crucial requirement in current time.
According to Dalbert, (2020), In beauty salons, people used to work closely. In COVID-
19, beauty salons has been found as the major source where infection can easily transmit from
one person to another. In Australia, four individuals who work together in a beauty salon as
hairdresser got infected with the virus. It was found that they were working even during the
infectious period. There are several people visit to salon so they are at high risk of getting
infection. It is identified that these people pass the infection to other people who visited the salon
during infectious period (Kleywegt and et. al., 2019). This all happen due to lack of awareness of
individuals. Hairdressers keep working even after developing symptoms. Due to this reason,
other people who came in their contact also got infected. Hence, beauty salons are considered as
the place which is less hygienic and also have a lot of cleanliness issues. Therefore, it is required
to follow all the necessary measures in order to avoid the transmission of infectious disease.
According to Rivera, (2020), people of Australia are at high risk of getting infectious
disease. It is because of their conscious nature about health and beauty. They just want to get
better looks at any cost. For this purpose, they also visit to dermatologist, beauty salons. In
addition to this, they get the chemical treatment which put adverse impact over their health in
future period of time. People start getting acnes, rashes as the after effect of cosmetic treatment.
They do all this only for fulfilling the desire of looking good. Here, Aesthesis has become a
major issue which is changing attitude of people towards beauty. Now, physical appearance

more matter than inner beauty. For getting pleasant appearance, individual visit undergo with
cosmetic procedure (Branco, 2020). They inhale medicines, take injection, visit beauty salons so
that they can look attractive. Even, people are not comfortable with ageing signs such as
wrinkles, pigmentation and more. They want to get rid with these signs at any cost. This attitude
of people is causing major issues in terms of Aesthesis. It is an emerging issue which will affect
life of individuals within country in devastating manner.
There are two major studies are undertaken in light of the major issue which Aesthesis.
Due to this, people are in race of looking good from each-other. Looks has become a priority for
each and every one. Here, the first study is based on impact of impact of cosmetic procedure and
injections over health of people. It shows that how dangerous cosmetic treatment can be proved.
The study is about major impact of cosmetic injections over health. The another study is related
with cleanliness and hygiene within beauty salon. The study illuminates importance of clean &
hygienic environment within beauty salons. Both studies are important and have been carried out
in order to understand the current and emerging issue of Aesthesis. However, the first study is
more important as it talks about risk of Australian people due to higher exposure of cosmetic
injection. Hygiene and cleanliness issue within beauty salon can be resolved but it is tough to
change the perception of people about beauty. Here, it is required to spread awareness about after
effect of cosmetic procedure so that people stop using these products.
