INTRODUCTION
Organisational change can be defined as the introduction and implementation of an
effective change within the business setting in order to enhance operations as well as day to day
business activities of the same. Organisational change can be implemented in any aspect of the
concerned business organisation. For example, policies and procedures, technology, strategies,
corporate governance, organisational culture, structure etc. Change can be characterised as one

run. Change is the sign of growth and sustainable operations. The organisational change allows

functioning in a productive way. One of the potential reason for the implementation of change

requirement of the current market with the utilisation of old management techniques or
procedures.

franchisee of Burger King in Australia. It has the ownership as well as subsidiary licenses for the
same as well. The company deals in variety of fast food products such as burgers and meals, rolls
and beverages etc. The most popular product delivered by the Hungry Jacks can be termed as the
Grilled Aussie Beef Burger, Ham burgers, chicken burgers, vegan burgers etc. The respective
fast food firm enjoys a huge retention of customers and the reason for the same can be
characterised as its ability to provide delicious snacks and burgers to the same.

Brief account of the current situation and critical assessment of the company’s current status
Hungry Jacks is leading huge scale of operations in the food industry of Australia. The
quality of the food services provided by the firm is appreciated within the target market as well.
Although, Hungry Jacks is leading satisfactory business operations, it needs to focus upon the
enhancing the operational efficiency of its food productions in order to lead more competent
food management operations within the firm. There are certain times, when Hungry Jacks
receives excessive ordering, in those times, Hungry Jack employees need to be very fast in
meeting up to the demand as well as need to ensure that the quality is not compromised in the
course of efficient food processing to the customers. The employees catering their services in the
business firm becomes much pressurised due to the same and possibility of errors is also
increased under such circumstances as well (Buhusayen, Seet and Coetzer,2021). The minor
glitches impact the business performance of the firm. The inability of Hungry Jacks to meet up to
the needs of the customers in terms of efficient food delivery leads to reduction in the customer
retention as well. The former can be stated as the biggest obstacle faced by the firm and it also
leads to severe implication on the management as well as the performance of the employees
within the business setting of Hungry Jacks. The satisfaction of customers is the primary goals of
the business enterprises. The business firms dealing in the food industry are required to be very
assertive towards the requirement of the customers in the market and align their service
operations in accordance with the same. Hungry Jacks also need to align to measures within its
management structure in order to accelerate the operational efficiency of the employees through
the incorporation of effective tools or techniques. The company needs to think about potential
strategies through which the existing gap in the operational efficiency can be bridges in an
advance manner. The respective situation can drive the company to complete with its rivals in
the respective industry in more effective manner. Thus, it can be assessed that company is doing
quite good in its market but the alleviation of operational efficiency can lead to major
contribution in the enhancement of service quality within the firm. The employee performance
can also be alleviated by emphasizing upon implementation of advance measures that can boost
up the process of food processing within the concerned business firm.
