Cross cultural management means when a leader guide his employees of other culture as
they are working in different countries with different cultural ascpects. Leadership style of a person
differ according to there working environment as they apply different styles according to business
needs(Thomas and Peterson, 2017). There are organisations which guide there leaders according to
changes they need in there business. It is duty of a leader to coordinate with the workplace and
provide satisfaction to there employees so that they can work more effectively. In the given case
study Vice president of a US based Hydro Generation is confused that whether he should appoint
Brett Jones as project Liaison specialist or not. There are chances that Jone will take Tanzanian
work culture in the organisation and this can lead to bad leadership practices in the organisation as
US is having different work culture from that of Tanzania. According to past experience he has
given highly satisfied results and used to finish every task on time. Different leadership styles with
a scripted podcast on given case study is explained in the report. A reflexive report on experience
and learning by working in team is also briefly explained.

by anyone by learning about it(Bird and Mendenhall, 2016). As a CEO I will suggest you Streinberg
to hire Jone as HG is searching for someone who have both home country corporate perspective and
knowledge of the host country's economic and culture. Brett Jones is perfect for this, so hire him.
He is able to influence others as he is born with this quality to lead the people. Ok I'll go with you
sir and will influence Jone to work for our organisation.

after working in team I am able to deliver my thoughts in front of anyone. As I learned to speak my
mind started working in all directions and helped me out to always come up with new ideas. My
over all personality developed and I learned to make postures while speaking verbally. I also
identified my strength and weaknesses and worked on both. I enhanced my strengths and improve
on my weaknesses by identifying reason of my weak points. According to Atkins and Lowe,
(2011) Working in a team can help you to learn how you can manage your time and can make your
work easy. This also helped me out in enhancing leadership quality in me. I came to know about
different leadership styles and how they influence people in real life. It depends upon work culture

become tough for them take there culture in practice and work accordingly. If Jone was given a
proper training then changes of this dissatisfaction may not be there.
I faced the change of giving presentation of particular topic, I found that my presentation
skill is not good. According to Atkins and Lowe (2011)an individualmust have good presentation
skill that make them more presentable and individual can gain more success in their life. I learned
to work in team. Theobald (2011) stated that All tasks were equally divided to all the members
according to there capability so that they can complete there tasks on time. We all member's
communicate on what sup and discussed each and every thing before we actually implemented it. I
have learned about new ways of doing task and have increased my efficiency as now I am able to
finish my tasks on time. Atkins, S. & Lowe, S., (2011) argued that Having knowledge about
leadership quality and taking it in improving someone personality. in my personality will be
helping me out in near future. It was a challenge for me to deliver the presentation as I was very
nervous during the delivery of my presentation. It was my negative part but I work on it and in near
future I will be able to give my presentation with full confidence. I have also improved my
communication skills and pronunciation as I was not that much good it it. For all these things I have
taken help of my tutor. During presentation I was not able to make eye contact with the audience
but I have improved it by interacting with new people. My thoughts are expanding in all direction as
this interaction brings new thoughts to increase my knowledge. Many a times I practised in front of
the mirror and repeated my words that I have to use during my presentation. I have become more
calm and patient and easily handle the things. Previously all members were not satisfied with my
work and made complaints but I over come that as I listened to all the points of my tutor very
patiently and worked day and night to improve my weaknesses so that my team can become more
strong and we can complete our tasks on given period of time. If one makes efforts it is not that
much tough to change our personality. Now I have a good personality and people easily get
influenced with me and my work.
