Diversity in the workplace refers to the variety and differences among the employees
associated with the organisation. Diversity in the workplace is essential to ensure equal
and logical distribution of resources and opportunities are available. It minimises the

are beneficial for an organisation when managed efficiently. It expands and diversifies
the ideas and working culture of the organisation making it more resilient and adaptable

candidates. It is recommended that rather from using the same portals that are at the top,
Google can tap into the lesser known portals that are more popular among people of
colour and range of various countries.

Also, Google can invest their resources for creating a league of employees that have been
trained specifically for the company. They can set up training programmes and
internships among communities with people of colour. This way they can hire directly
from a pool that has been attuned to the needs and working culture of the company.

diversity is highly skewed. However, Google has taken some decided steps to improve its
cultural distribution and has been working to promote cultural equality for the last three
years. Google is one of the four largest company related to technology. As a result, it has
an extensive impact on the working culture in the industry. Other companies follow the
example of Google and make use of steps undertaken by it to extend their business. The
