INTRODUCTION
A career view point is concerns a pattern of "employmentt based experiences." The
understanding of concept of a "career view point" will impact that how person view their
own career or education life, but economic based realities could dictate that the person will
change their occupations and managers at least once (Hartley, Routon and Torres, 2019). Career
perspective is play important role in providing better job opportunity for better stability of life. It
helps in manage the future job opportunities and boost their career. This report is based on career
view point and reflection which includes the personal analysis, career action plan, CV and
linkedIn profile.

Personal analysis
As per the coursework one, there is impact of general trends on the retailing sector.
Person done MBA in marketing and after joined lots of small company in the London. The
person took major experience in field of marketing. He/she is looking for better opportunities for
boosting career. For successful career, it is very difficult to doing job in large companies because
person only have small business experience. For getting more best opportunity he/she visited
some online portal such as naukri. com and indeed.com.uk. Person visited the job application
online based and then shows a best job opportunity in Sainsbury which is considered well known
retailing company in United Kingdom. At this place everyone wants to get job for boosting
career and get better experience. Due to globalisation in market the competition level rise on
regular basis. For getting more profit advantages it is essential to focus on revenue or sales.
Sainsbury Company requires skilled or qualified candidates and also who have experience in
marketing field as well as aware about market. Company provide job opportunities to fresher and
those who have experience in marketing field.
Organisation believes that fresher came up with new and fresh ideas which boost the
performance and productivity level of business. Person takes help from secondary resources that
is government rules and policies. Person generalise from the years that is sales performance in
this company is not as such improve as compare to the other well known organisations such as
tesco, Morrisons and other firms. The main concern behind the weak performance of business is
that emergence with latest technology and other companies are adopting new technology for

their smooth functioning. Company wants to launch new technology for hire a best talented
marketers for the marketing department. They are looking for people who have technical skills
for managing the technology department with marketing department. Sainsbury give an
advertisement related to the promotion and marketing activities as well as planner for company.
They provide job as per employee’s skills.
For playing job role in the marketing department there are different skills are required which
are help in doing well in promotions and marketing activities. Right skills are provide better job
opportunities as well helps in managing marketing roles for better performance rate. For playing
job role in marketing department, candidate should have strong in some computer software as
well such as PowerPoint, MS Excel and different other essential software which are required in
managing the business and its functions. Company is looking for skilled candidates who have
various skills that are: stakeholder management skills, computer, communication or negotiation,
collaborative, legal knowledge and ability to encourage the consumers. All skills are helps in
person’s self development as well as performing job role in well manner so that company can
achieve their targets in particular time frame.
Career action plan
The below presented career action plan is based on the observation of my own self
regarding the skills I lack and need to work upon (Hunt, 2018). Followed by the action that I will
be performing in order to complete the goal for the betterment of myself.
