INTRODUCTION
Business Analytics is the cognitive process by which business organization utilise
statistical data and technologies for analysing the data in order to identify new insight and amend
improved strategic decision-making (Runkler, 2020). The execution of data analytics in an
business organization helps in increasing efficiency in collecting and assembly information and
developing an actionable strategy for present or new opportunities. The report is on the business
process and data of the “Northgate Vehicle Hire”, a largest commercial vehicle rental provider
based in Darlington, Country Durham, England, UK. The company owns approx 100,000
vehicles in the UK. The company vision is to be the leading supplier of mobility solutions and
automotive services globally. The report describe the flowchart of rental process of Northgate
Plc. With decision in between the process and the transformation of activities of business process
into digitalization. The report also outlines the two basic information system, various databases
and applications of big data analytics. Moreover the intelligence tools with their opportunities in
organisation and their implication on cyber security and employment/ unemployment of the
organisation are stated in the report.

Business process is the integration of the various activities that are conducted by the
stakeholders, employees and other people of the organisation to attain the particular objective
attached to that process and to satisfy the consumers with accurate process. (Sigler, Morrison and
Moriarity, 2020). The Northgate Vehicle Hire is having specific rental process in its business
process that includes various segments for the organisation to deliver the rented car to the
consumer at right place and right time.
