Prior to the interview the topics were selected. The most important people that can
be interviewed were selected. The profile of the interviewees were made.
Describe the candidate’s attitude and demeanour throughout the interview:
The candidate were very helpful and friendly. He wanted to make sure that the
most important information are gathered by us and provided to the important
authorities. He was well mannered and very cooperative.
Describe the candidate’s tone of voice, choice of language, hand gestures,
body language, etc. throughout the interview:
The candidate spoke in low to medium tones. The choice of language was English.
The body language was amicable.
Describe how the candidate showed diversity in communication:Did they try to learn indigenous words or encouraged the use of indigenous words?
They helped to understand some of the aboriginal words. They tried to emphasize
on the meanings of this word to stress on some of the important community aspects
throughout the conversation.
Describe how the candidate demonstrated understanding of indigenous
culture:
The candidate explained every aboriginal word that they used. They displayed
superior knowledge of Aboriginal culture.
State your opinion on the strategies developed by the interviewer:
The interviewer developed effective strategies that helped in firstly understanding the
premise of the interview and secondly, established the most important questions that
needed to be answered. The strategies had been effective in accordance of the situation.
