1.1 PROJECT BACKGROUND (1 MARK)
The project is entirely based upon hosting of the National Aborigines along with the Islanders
Day Observation Committee Event or the NAIDOC by the CQ University. The projects main
purpose includes the events which would be helping in raising of the awareness related to the
cultures and perspectives of the Indigenous people who lives in the Torrs Strait amongst the
other students and the staffs present in the university (Larson & Gray, 2017). The event would also
be associated with promoting the engagement along with the collaboration with the indigenous
Torres Strait Islanders along with spreading of the cultural resources amongst all other people
who are seen to be associated with the university.

2.3 Stakeholder Communication (1 mark)
Communication method PULL or PUSH Justification
Usage of Video Conference
Pull There is no need of having “push” by the
external stakeholders or any kind of
communication related to motivation which
is required by them which means they are
to be convinced for the purpose of taking
active participation in the project
3. REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT
3.1 Traditional Owner/s of the land on which CQ University campuses are located
One of the approaches which is most preferred is the appointment of a particular stakeholder from
each of the campus of the university who would be entirely associated with representing the
respective campuses. Selection of only one stakeholder for all campuses is not considered to be a
feasible option and the reason behind this is that they are not having any sufficient amount of
experience in all the campus when considered together.
