Abstract
The object of the report is to provide a detailed insight into the internal analysis of the reputed
White Plains Hospital by focusing on the strength, weakness, opportunities and threat. The
White Plains Hospital represents a non-profit hospital that provided general care to patients
along with a cancer center. The strength helps in identifying the areas that the hospital does well.
While weakness refers to the areas that can be improved. On the other hand, the opportunities
puts across trends that is advantageous for the hospital while the threat represents the factors that
can pose a harm to the hospital.

SWOT Analysis of White Plains Hospital
The report provides a detailed internal analysis of White Plains Hospital. It represents a
generalized surgical and medical nonprofit hospital located in the White Plains, New York
(wphospital.org, 2020). The hospital was found in the year 1893 before the incorporation of
White Plains as city. The facilities of the hospital comprised of four room building located on the
Chatterton hill. In its first year of operation the hospital treated close to 31 patients. Nevertheless,
some of the competitors of White Plains Hospital include Sound Shore Medical Centre, St.
Joseph’s Hospital, Lima Memorial Hospital and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.
Strength:
The strength of White Plains Hospital lies in offering higher quality, acute medical
and health care to all the people living in or are visiting the surrounding areas of Westchester
County (wphospital.org, 2020). These services are delivered in a compassionate and caring
manner thereby focusing on the community needs.
The strength of the hospital also lies in the mission of assessing and improving the
health status of local community, business sector and professional community. The hospital
will also strive towards the enhancement of the capabilities and in delivering health care services
within scope of resources in cost effective manner. Besides, the hospital provides services and
care irrespective of the color, creed, race, age, national origin, ability of paying and sexual
orientation.
The strength of the organization also lay in its marketing since the hospital launched a
newer advertising campaign. The print, radio and the video marketing featured real clinician
