INTRODUCTION
The assignment is based on the WHS system that will be implementing in the organization
for providing better facilities and services. The documentation will focus on the employee health
and safety so that examine the risk related the health. It will describe about the roles and
responsibilities of WHS system and how it will help for maintaining policies within organization.
Furthermore, it will discuss about the WHS standards that how it will help in the work life
balance processes.
ASSESSMENT 1
Introduction about company
Pitstop is based on the privately owned company that until recently operated one
independent service station in Melbourne. The organization has been maintained the sufficient
finance to buy the independent service station. In this way, it help for increasing the business
capabilities and abilities in global marketplace (Babenko, Boichenko and Koniaieva 2019). The
founder of organization is Jim Murphy that has run the enterprise for past five years. He operates
the service station is the most appropriate manner which relies on the hand on approach to
provide the instruction and monitor activities of staff members. There are total 60 employees
work together in the organization that has different from background and culture.
All physical stores have based on the computerised point of sale which are directly linked
with business resource planning as well as accounting system. In past eight month, pitshop
enterprise operate the nine different stores across Queensland, Victoria, NSW and other rebrand
them (Marling, Horberry and Harris, 2019). The owner of company always focused on the plan
to continue the expansion until optimum target of 30 different station that must be secured.
Identifying current issues
Appoint as General Manager in Pitshop organization, focused on the overall business
expansion. Afterwards, it has been decided to develop and design WHS management system
which help for managing overall issues that arise at workplace.
Pitshop has gone through the tremendous transformation from single hand on operation to
various store business. As per analysis, it has found that there are issues arise related risk to
employee health. In recently, it also recognised the sexual harassment issue which is the most
serious problem that needed to control in quickly (Marling, Horberry and Harris, 2019). Sexual
harassment can be deliberated in both physical as well as verbal. It will be experience anywhere
