SWOT analysis
Strengths: Heathrow is the largest international airport which has
achieved major growth, profitability and revenue from its business
operations. Continuously increasing profitability of enterprise is
major competencies for expansion (Bell and et.al., 2017). High
monetary support has been provided by shareholders and government
to the organisation which has increased their capability

Weaknesses:
Future market size is only one weakness of Heathrow due to which
company will face problems in the future. Heathrow has wide interlink
with international and British airlines companies to whom Heathrow
provide services (Hisrich and Kearney, 2013).
Opportunities: Analysis has stated that continuous rise in income level of
people has provided major opportunities to organisation because their
customers have been increasing continuous. Company mainly comes under
travel and tourism sector, increase income level will raise the demand of air
travel in countries.

Threats
The major problems which provides influence on growth and
development of Heathrow is increase in management of global
operations are increase in cash flows which has influenced their
profitability. Changes in government regulation, technological
problems and increase in labour costs are some threats for
organisation.

Risk Management
There are various important strategies that need to be implemented
by the management of the company to face the operations risk.
These are the types of risks which are associated with the human
errors. As per Morden, (2016), baggage handling process has a
considerable human element which has led to many health and
safety concerns etc. reputation of airport is damaged due to human
errors; for example: mishandling which was occurred, leading to a
certain number of lost certain. In the Heathrow airport, A high tech
baggage system is also used and it is extremely sophisticated which
has been designed for performance plus reliability.

Delivery of the sprints and outcomes and supportive
documentation
From the above analysis, it has analysed that expansion of business
operation and its management in global context is complex task
which requires a lot of risk management practices. External analysis
of the company has clearly stated that company is facing strong
financial position in market which they have achieved through
providing effective services to customers and management. Along
with this, health has developed a strong new terminal for providing
services to its tenant airlines which has raised its demand between
international travellers. With this introduction of new terminal,
company has developed various competencies to increase its overall
revenue and developed high profitability in market and expansion of
business operations (Davies and Brady, 2016).
