Continuous professional development is a constant process of learning, maintaining and documenting the professional skills which have been developed by an employee either formally through coaching and training or informally with the help of observing other people. In this project report, the professional knowledge, skills and behaviours required by HR Advisors are determined, followed by a personal skill audit and professional development plan. The report also discusses the differences between individual and organisational learning and training and development, and emphasizes the importance of continuous professional development in driving sustainable business performance.
