INTRODUCTION
Health care organizations also address different current and rising issues that are not good
for the healthy lifestyle of people. There are many social and religious practices which are
consists of different rituals of mutilating body parts of for no reason. Different communities
follow this process to show their devotion for their religion. These practices are performed
without any medical reason (Batras, Duff and Smith, 2016). FGM also is a community practice
that is performed on females before age of 14 year. Female Genital Mutilation is a process to
remove the external female genitalia completely or partially. It also includes process of injuring
female genitals for non medical reasons. This report will be providing brief about how the health
care organizations address these issues and communicate them in public to increase their
awareness to prevent such activities in the future. Various methods of public communication are
used by the health care organization will be explained in report. This also will be explained that
how these methods of communication influence the people in the public domain. The impact of
media is explained to evaluate the impact of media on the attitude and behaviour of people for
the health care issues. Different ways to access health care information are explained for target
people. Different perspectives of research will be explained to make the process of public
communication more effective.

Impact of Media on People Behaviour
There is huge impact of media in the health care promotions. These media is added to the
promotional content to improve its relevancy. There are different ways to use media in the
posters, brochure, television advertisement and social media. The main role of media is to
create change in the thought process and add emotions on the certain topics. This important to
use the visuals in the promotional content to get better result and response from the target

people. There are different type of content and media can be used for the social promotion. For
the Women development it is essential to use media that can help the organization to influence
the people to prevent such activities that are affect personal life of a woman. If only written
content is used in the media promotion then it will have no effectiveness and it would not attract
the target people. This is about put a thought in mind of people who are following this kind of
religious activities (Baum, 2016). Written communication is not that effective to make huge
change in the thinking of person. This is only possible by attaching media in promotional
content to create huge impact on individual person. Images, audio, video and slogans can
influence the mind set of people more effectively. As per the scientific research images and
other visual promotions are more attractive than normal content. People do not want to waste
their time in reading content. This also will be helpful for healthcare organization to encourage
the people to communicate the issue in the public places and take initiative towards the change.
There different reasons that makes the use of media more effective in the health care
promotions. Media is a part of visual communication and it is important in different ways.
There are different advantages of visuals and audio in the promotion that are created to change
the vision of people about their radical religious practices (Clarke, Kuosmanen and Barry,
2015). Advantages of media in promotions are- it saves time because there is nothing to read in
the visual promotion and people can easily understand the message that is delivered in the
process. A single image can say a thousand words. As per a research brain process the image
60000 times faster than the written content. This can save time form both promotion creator and
reader. This can help the creator to expose their feelings without saying or writing a word.
Media also make the promotions more simple, flexible and effective. This is how media can be
used in the promotion strategies to address the issue like FGM activities in particular areas. The
victims of the FGM are the girls who are under 14 year age and belongs to a particular religion
of Africa, Middle East and south East Asia. To rise this issue is more complex because this can
conflict between the health care organizations and particular religion. The target people of this
promotions are the people who are following these practices as rituals.
Way to Access the Information
There are different sources presented there that can be used to gain information about
the issue. This sources can be classified in different types. This information sources are
Primary, Secondary and tertiary (Curtis, 2018). The primary sources are also known as original

sources. Different types of document that are created in the process of study are known as
primary sources. In context of this particular issue people can access the information from
different articles, research and journals that are created by individual person or group. These
study document of individual person can be used as the source of information. The secondary
sources are known as the sources which are developed from the original documents by
discussion and conducting research. In this type of sources different people use original
documents to perform research and explain the original data and information. The tertiary
sources are general text books and views of individual people on the topic (Edelman, Mandle
and Kudzma, 2017). This all type of sources are available on online and off line platforms. The
people who want to get data and information of FGM can gather information from these
sources. The primary and secondary sources are more reliable and authenticated than third type
of resources. For more accurate evaluation of issue primary and secondary sources are need to
be addressed.

Reflection of local attitude for the National Level
Issues which are associated to female genital mutilation on local level have huge impact on the
national level. The perspective of people who lives in different areas is influenced by different
factors and it can be overlooked in their lifestyle (Fertman and Allensworth, 2016). The major
factors are related to culture, communities, education level, living standard and their daily
routine lifestyle. The religious practices that are performed as rituals part of old mythology are
influenced by people which radical thoughts and behaviour. On the national basis there are
different perspectives reflected by locals create image on the global platform. The people who
lives in remote areas do not want any changes in their practices and rituals that are associated to
their religion. They follow the practices which are told by people who are considered as leaders
of their religion. They follow those leaders with full devotion which is just result of blind trust.
On the national level these are the major factors that affect the campaigns of health and social
care organisation. According to NHS the whole country is divided into different regions, the

status of local religious practices are visible on a national level as reports and research papers of
health authorities (Guével, Pommier and Jourdan, 2015. The accidence and medical cases that
are result of female genital mutilation without any medical assistance and non medical reason
shows the negative impact of practices that are performed by people as hard core religion.
Validity of People Behaviour on Particular Issue of FGM
Different people have different opinion about the practices that are followed as the rituals. This
views can be considered as their perspectives which are bases on different thoughts and mind
sets (Hughes and Edmondson, 2016). This is really difficult to change the perspective of those
who follows the traditional and religious practices with complete devotion. Views of people
changes with the time but this views are very crucial to prevent the practices which are not good
for females. In own perspective they are right but from the view of medical authorities this
practices are dangerous and these activities can cause major damage to the human body. Also it
has negative impact on the mental status of girls who have faces it. Belief of people make them
to perform this practice and pressure form community do not allow them to make a difference by
avoiding the main stream ritual. According to them they are right and but actually they need to
change their vision and mind set to set the women free from this radical practice which is
extremely dangerous for females (Ibeagha, 2019Niederberger and Keller, 2018). This is how
medical associate have a valid reason to perform a change by different activities like medical
promotions to stop people from performing this seen,
Consequences of health care practices
The health care organizations and social care organization have several duties and
responsibilities that are essential to follow. They try to change the mind of people to prevent
such practices which are associated with religion (Phull, Wills and Dickinson, 2015). There are
different results are possible. Most of time these results are positive for organization but
sometime this actions can create mess which can lead to conflicts and other problems that can
harm the people and organization. Most consequences are possible with the people who have
already showed intend to avoid rituals that can cause harm to their body and health. This people
face major restriction from communities which they are from (Salazar, Crosby and DiClemente,
2015). There are different techniques that can be used by the health care organization to
communicate with public to make them aware and informed about a particular issue. The
purpose of these methods is to make effective communication with the public and make them

aware of certain issue of problem to prevent certain problems that can be avoid to improve the
life style of people (Sharma, 2016). These methods include the communication between
machines and people. The method of communication is depended on its purpose. For
information, educating, persuading and controlling different techniques are used by the health
care organization. Other things that are associated with this social promotions have different
positive and negative impact over the effort of HSC organization. These factors are knowledge
of medical, local education level, understanding level of people, influence of local communities
and background of people. The message delivered by the images is more clear that the language
and it is good for all kind of people. People who are illiterate and can not read also will be able to
understand message that is delivered in the promotions. It also can help the health care
organization to maintain consistency in the promotion methods and keep people motivated about
the topic. This is major issue for the organization to influence the people who are involved in the
activities that is causing harm to women (von Rège and Campion, 2017). The consequences due
to the strict policies can lead to ignorance in followers of religion. They could become violent
also they can show the tendency to harm the people who are supporting the campaigns of health
and social carte organization.
CONCLUSION
This report is concluding about the importance of policies and communication methods that
are used by the health care organizations to make people aware and educated about practices that
can harm their body with short term and long term health issues. Various methods that are used
by the health care organization to communicate people about the dangers and risks which is
associated with religious rituals they used to follow has been evaluated and analysed in the
report. Different perspectives of people has been studied in the report to know their mind set
about the practices that are result of radicalism of their particular religion. The consequences of
policies of health are social care organization has been studied and evaluated to know their
impact on societies and communities. The perspectives of people are validated as per the norms
of health and social organization.
