for the usage of smartphones. Smartphone is a better option than computers and laptops. It is the basic
requirement for everyone these days. Internet helps Smartphone to capture markets in the industry. It also helps
the companies and the users to interact with each other and in fact they can operate online business with the help
of internet. Online business is better and transparent because entire details of the product is provided and the
competitors available in the market. Smartphone is a time saving and fastest mode of communication (KD,
2017). It helps to communicate with each other very easily all over the world and many people are getting
facilities of growing up their business through smart phones. New advertisements and promotions attracts new
customer. In earlier times we have seen the advertisements on televisions and in newspapers only with limited
information of the product only. Today we can see the advertisements on websites and many applications on the
smart phones with the complete information. Through the Smartphone websites everyone is able to get the
complete information of the product and the price of the product. Smartphone is a necessity and equally
important in today’s life to move parallely with the society (Wondra, 2015).

In today’s world Smartphone is basically a necessity and an important part of life. India is one of the
fastest growing economies of the world especially in the field of mobile communication. Mobile phone has
become an essential part of personal and business life. India is currently at number two position if we talk about
the mobile handset market globally. Smartphone has created new dimensions for business in the Indian market.
It is beneficial not only for the Smartphone companies but also for the mobile application developing
companies. Internet service providers also gain a huge amount of profit because nobody with a smartphone will
be without internet. In the last couples of years smart phones are selling like hotcakes and above all internet
service providers are growing extensively in the market. Mobile application market is a business sector that is
introduced by smartphones. There are some negative impacts of smartphone also like they have stopped the
usage of computers as everything can be done through smart phones (Bernard, 2018). It helps to read news, post
status and post photos, know about the different place around the globe. There are many Smartphone companies
that are targeting India as their most capable markets. Some of the major international brands that are working
very well and having effective sales are Samsung, Apple, Nokia, Motorola and many more. Smartphone is used
for watching movies, listening to music, watching news of the world (Natanson, 2016) . Usage of Smartphone is
growing day by day in the world because it helps to connect with the people or helps in finding any information
easily. Smartphones are used by everyone but each one of them has a different purpose of using the smart
phones. For example: young people use it as a gaming device, for students it is a study material or helps to gain
knowledge, for the professionals and businessman it is a matter of business. Corporate sector is promoting their
business through the smartphones these days. Today every consumer is using their smart phones or tablets to
access the internet so that online shopping can be done through various sites or the applications. They can also
search for anything they want to wish and reach your business’s website. It also helps to many companies that
they don’t have to promote their products like earlier giving advertisement in the newspaper and all.Smartphone
is very much suitable as it had replaced the computers and laptops for accessing the internet all over the world.
Smartphone helps to save time as everyone is having smart phones in their pockets so that they can access the
internet at any place or any time (Benady, 2014). Smartphone is a requirement these days for everyone and
that’s why it has impacted the marketing industry. In the recent times, consumers have very less knowledge of
the product, about its specifications and services only through the advertisements and promotions. Now they can
access the full information like price, features, services, products and competitors with the help of the gadget.
Every customer has their own power and choice to select the best product. This information is also helpful for
the companies or the organizations to know its current position in the terms of standards and the sales. It is not
necessary for any company or the organization to decrease the prices of their products to increase the sales. It is
necessary that the products and services have a unique brand name and have a good reputation in the market.
Companies can increase their customer base and sales very fast. Smartphone is helping the company and the
consumer in communication (Patel, 2014). A customer can directly approach to any of the companies through
