Introduction
Workplace transformation is the process of creating a flexible work environment.
Basically, it is about using latest and updated techniques so that the employees can learn in an
efficient manner. In current period of time, workplace transformation has become highly
important in order to ensure future enlargement of the company. Now, there is requirement of
flexible workspaces which can support proper communication between employees and
employers. In this regard, organizations are adopting latest and updated technology in order to
maintain positive environment at workplace. To ensure success of the company, organizations
are appointing skilled and efficient employees who can contribute in the success of the
organization in an efficient manner (Meske, 2019). The present study is based on the higher level
of understanding of the role of digital transformation practices in transforming the working
environment of a company. Currently, the companies are likely to use digital techniques so that
they can interact with the employees. For this purpose, they use various digital platforms like
Zoom, Google meet and more. The study will cover the impact of digital technology on
workplace transformation.
Background information of company
Easy Jet is a multinational company of London. It is a low cost airline which is
headquartered at London. It operates international and domestic schedule on 1000 routes within
more than 30 countries. The company is looking forward for expansion since its establishment in
1995. It is owned by several private investors and known for offering services at reasonable
price at different parts of the world. However, the COVID-19 outbreak has affected the
functioning of the organization. The main aim of the organization is to offer effective returns to
the stakeholders.
Project Aims and objectives
Project Aim: “The role of key drivers influencing digital workplace transformation” A case
study on EasyJet.
Research Objectives:
To understand the concept of digitalization at workplace.

Scope plan In this, the plan of the overall project is
determine significantly. In current context, the
major objectives are:

There will be use of quantitative evaluation
methods & tools so that the viable
recommendations can be drawn

Budgeting Budgeting refers to determining the cost for the
entire project which is determine by the project
team. It is important to determine the cost at
the time of beginning of the project and the
budget needs to approve by the project team
(Crawford, 2021). For present project work,
there is a budget of 150 Euro has been
determined. The major components of budget
are internet connection, travelling allowances,
Microsoft office and more.
Time frame Determine time frame is crucial for the project
team members in order to determine the
estimate deadlines of project. In this context,
the project team member need to stay aware
with the deadline so that they can perform the
assigned work accordingly for the attainment
of predefined research aims and objectives
(Silvius and et. al., 2017). By determining time
frame, it is possible to make proper utilization
of the available resources. In reference of the
given project, the estimated deadline is is 3
months. Here, the activities of work break
down structure plays an important role in
setting deadline efficiently.
Risk management Risk management is a significant element of
project management plan. In each and every
project, certain amount of risk is associated.
For successful and timely completion of
project work, there is requirement to have
proper risk management plan (Kerzner, 2017)
. It helps in minimizing the uncertainties so

that the project can be completed effectively.
In context of the given project, several risk has
been identified which are mentioned below.
Time is the most significant constraint
which was faced by the investigator.
Market research.
Gathering proper response from the
individuals
Inefficiency in terms of attainment of
pre-defined project aims and objectives.
There is requirement to mitigate the risk by
adopting significant strategies. In this regard,
the researcher is required to appoint full time
efficient and capable employees who can easily
deal with issue related of research project. To
deal with such issues, a proper gantt chart and
work breakdown structure will be prepared to
track the progress of the project in timely
manner. Additionally, market research is also
an important part of the overall project
management. Here, the information can be
easily gathered through Google forms another
forms. Additionally, quantitative methods are
implemented to understand key drivers of
digital transformation within the organization.
Online service and peer reviews, journals and
more will be undertaken to gather detailed &
in-depth information for the accomplishment
of project work.
Communication plan Communication is highly important for the

Communication plan is useful in terms of
delegation of tasks and responsibilities
appropriately (Bjorvatn and Wald, 2018)
. It helps the researcher in maintaining proper

management team. For this purpose,
questionnaire has been prepared to collect that
formation from the employees of EasyJet. This
communication will help setting strategies for
the success of project work.
monitoring plan Apart from determining objectives, monitoring
the success and growth of project is also
important to make necessary improvements in
project in timely manner. Here, preparing gantt
chart and work breakdown structure is helpful
in assessing the progress and growth of project
efficiently.
Resource plan Resources are a crucial and the most
significant part of project execution. Without
availability of key resources, it is quite difficult
for the researcher to accomplish the research
related roles and responsibilities. In context of
the present research work, there will be
requirement of ample of resources which could
be financial or nonfinancial. In terms of non
financial resources, there will be requirement
of laptop, fast internet connection Google
forms, skilled and efficient Labor and more.

Work break down structure
It is a tool that is often used for completing a project in timely manner. Here, the entire
project is divided into small components so that the project can be accomplished as per
deadlines. The main aim of WBS is to reduce down the complexities of the overall project work
(Oleinik, 2018). WBS helps in making the entire project manageable and simple. In context of
the present project, WBS is given below:
Gantt chart
This is a graphical tool that included starting and ending date of project along with the
roles & responsibilities of project team members. It is a significant way to show different
activities. It helps the team members to plan the work according to the deadlines (Cicmil and et.
al., 2017). In addition, it is also helpful in proper allocation of resources so that the project can be
