DISCUSSION
The health care industry is one of the most effected industries after introduction of pandemic
situation within the environment. Due to the enhancement in demand of healthcare people and
shortage of the workforce supply within the industry, the qualities of services and patient
experiences also get affected drastically. Therefore in order to get rid from such challenges,
recruitment of best talents is one of the key elements that drive the organizations towards
success. This discussion is based on the healthcare industry within the UK which provides
detailed focus along with the discussion on the objectives that has been prepared for the
completion of this research.
Objective 1- To evaluate the key attributes of employee value proposition in the health care
industry in UK
From the perception of various researchers as well as articles it has been analysed that
Employee value proposition provides unique value of benefits to the employees and the
employee also get consequently from the talent, potential and knowledge that they express to an
organization. But after the effects of pandemic situation that has been faced by the industry, it
has been evaluated that hiring and keeping employees in the health industry is highly difficult
and this related to the recruitment as well as retention tool. Good employees in the UK based
hospitals are the results of major health care benefits, leave benefits, retirement benefits,
prevention benefits and many more which are related to various other sectors and contribute
towards the growth of healthcare industry. Employee value proposition helps drastically in most
of the healthcare companies in order to enhance the competition level and able to work in
difficult situations which include recent pandemic situation (The Relationship between Employee
Value Proposition and Employee Loyalty: A Conceptual Framework, 2019).

It has been evaluated that the pandemic situation changed the whole concept as well as the
relationship among the employees as well as employer. Leading organization and make
employers update about their employees, both are related to different propositions and make
involvement through different sources of the company. In the healthcare industry it is generally
related to various requirements and demand of employees but enhanced competition are not able
to make and recruit talented staff members. The major purpose of employee value proposition is
delivering shareholders value, attracting, motivating and retaining of employees and finally
inspiring customers’ loyalty. Various researchers had demonstrated that work and organization
are the factors for employees in order to stay or leave any establishment. Employees view
rewards, opportunities and work when deciding to stay within the company or leave the
organization. There is always a positive relationship between company’s factors and employee
loyalty. Effective benefits create a sense of satisfaction among employees which ensures the
safety and high amount of retention of employees within the hospitality industry. After inclusion
of pandemic situation, it has been identified that people demand more rather than desired
demands. Furthermore, EVP make a right balance between employees and managing large
number of people (Employer Value Proposition: A Conceptual Framework and Scale
Development for Indian Information Technology Professionals, 2021). The values are able to
help the companies in healthcare industry in order to work and retain their employees with the
usage of major workers who are able to work but not ready to work because of ineffective health
care facilities. So, employee worth proposal is an innovative and significant concept in
healthcare industry to United Kingdom in order to highlight the role of employees and create
their right image or value within the hospital sector. According to the current scenario, it has
been seen that employees are looking to leave their current companies and wants to grab new
opportunities which offered the chance to have greater job stability, higher payment salary, and
which offer better work-life balance in their life in order to sustain their lifestyle in better way.

An employee value proposition is known as the combination and contribution offered by
an establishment for the understanding, expertise as well as potential. It shows significant
contribution towards employee engagement. It is basically what an employee receives in return
