1. Introduction
The following paper attempts a discussion on the impact of the organizational changes in
terms of the overall development of the organization. The paper opens with the discussion on the
organizational change management. The paper thereafter proceeds to shed light on the
development faced by the organization due to the proper implication of changes. The paper
further highlights the impact of the organizational changes on the organizational structure. This
is followed by a summary of the aforementioned topics. The paper further highlights practical
implication of changes at managerial levels. The paper finally concludes with the reflection on
the knowledge gained from the articles.
2. Overview of organizational change management
2.1. Organizational change management
The management of the organizational change is considered to be one of the major
aspects that is linked to the success and the growth of the business organizations. Nordin et.al.
(2012) in his article entitled “A Framework for organizational change management in lean
manufacturing implementation stated that the implementation of activities like lean
manufacturing assist in implementing the changes that are required to be made within various
departments within the company. The authors further argue on the fact that the implementation
of the lean manufacturing helps in the development of the required change in order to deal with
the overall development within the organization. Nordin et.al. (2012) further discusses the
importance of proper organizational communication and the impact of the same on the
implementation of the processes of lean management. The authors further shed light on the
importance of the training and the developmental procedures in the management of the lean
manufacturing processes.

Zhu and Jones (2014) in their article entitled “Huawei: an exemplar for organizational
change in a modern environment” discusses the processes of change management as has been
put forth by Huawei, a business firm dealing in technology. The article highlights the importance
of the implementation of the proper changes within the given organization. The authors of the
article highlight the ways in which the company has implemented the given processes in order to
manage the changes. The article states the ways in which the research and development team
appointed by the company collects the required information about the changes that have been
implemented within the given markets. Zhu and Jones (2014) further discuss the ways in which
the strategies implemented by the company were changes in order to avoid the various negative
impacts that might affect the company in case the changes are not implemented.

the various issues that reflect the ideas of the employees within the organization in relation to the
change processes that needs to be implemented within the given workplace. The organizational
workforce needs to acknowledge the changes that need to be implemented within the
organizational operations in the realms of technology, society and the needs of the organizational
workforce. The proper acknowledgement of the changes on the part of the employees tend to
help in the development as well as the implementation of the changes that are required for the
