Concept and importance of effective motivation strategies in retail sector
As per the view point of LaurrenUfford, (2017), Motivation is defined as Inducement an
incitement to fulfil an action. In addition to this, motivation is one of the very important factors
for dynamic success and growth of an organization at marketplace. It can drive the staff members
of a company to meet their individual objectives along with the company’s overall goals. It is
important for an organization to keep on motivating its staff members as it help in increasing the
productivity of an organization. It is determined that it ensures organizational efficiency as

rewards to its workforce of their good performance then employees will be more dedicated and
encouraged to reach with the targets which leads to increase in the overall efficiency and
productivity of a business (What role does motivation play in managing an organisation, 2020).
It is analyzed that motivation not only help in raising productivity but it also promote loyalty
between the employees. A well stimulated employee is loyal and has high level of morale and
confidence and is also being committed towards the organization objective to be attained within
stipulated time period (Taufan, 2017).
In the present time, most of the organization makes use of motivational strategies within
objective to manage and retain staff members for longer time period. It help in facilitates
direction as a motivated employee will be enthusiastic about helping to innovate and develop the
company which further leads to expansion and growth of business. Furthermore, there are
various employees who have negative attitude towards organization but motivational strategies

determined that there is reduction in employee turnover rate due to motivational strategies as
employees are loyal towards the organization and did not think to leave the organization. This
help company to save the cost of hiring new employees and providing them training (El-Adland
Alkharusi, 2020). it also help company to develop its reputation at marketplace in an effective

the knowledge about the value of their employees as an effective employee enhance
performance, develop good relations with customers and also act as a brand ambassador in the

Thus, it is vital for an organization to provide rewards that is both monetary and non-

rivals effectively and properly. There is high competition in the retail sector and is gain success
only because of effective service providing to the customers which is possible when an
organization has talented and skilled workforce (Wang and et. al., 2021). Therefore, it is
important for an organization to know the relevance of motivational strategies and to implement
