CHAPTER 3 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Introduction
Research methodology is another one of the significant aspect in the research study by
which researcher can understand the actual objective and find out the best solution of research
problem. Research methodology is an aspect that assists in collecting, analyzing and interpreting
information about the subject through which right solution can obtain in effective and efficient
manner. There are several methods includes in the research methodology such as research
approach, research design, research philosophies, research technique, strategy, data collection,
data analysis, sampling etc. By apply several methods and techniques of research methodology,
researcher can understand the issue and find out the best solution. In the present study, the major
objective of researcher is to analyze the significance of employees’ motivation on the
performance of business. Thus, for achieve this objective, researcher have applied several
techniques which are discussed below-
Research Philosophies
Research philosophy allows to researcher in understanding the objective of study and find
out the best solution of research problem. With assistance of the research philosophy, researcher
can easily collect the information about the subject and focus on the actual issue of the study.
Research thinking Research objectivity deals with the source, nature and change of learning. It
empowers the master to grasp the investigation issue accurately. There are two kind of
hypothesis that is positivism and interpretivism. In the interpretivism rationale, the researcher has
used distinctive hypotheses and disclosures with a particular true objective to test the subjective
thoughts. On the other positivism ask about thinking can grasp while researcher has prepared to

While in the examination, there is proximity of research question is known as inductive
procedure (Panneerselvam, 2014). Be that as it may, when the theory housings to achieve the
investigation issue then deductive approach will use. In the going with examination, expert will
consider inductive approach since whole examination relies upon the investigation request to
find the game plan of research question. There are two vital kinds of research approach that are
inductive and deductive. It is basic to apply in the exploration by the researcher in regard to
complete the examination in a proper way (Tai and Chuang, 2014). The determination of the
approach is done based on nature of the examination. The present examination depends on to
investigate significance of employees inspiration on the execution of Uber drivers in London.
Subsequently, inductive approach will be utilized as it help in distinguishing the motivational
factor to enhance the execution of employees. The purpose for choosing this approach is that in
this exploration will center around first gathering the general data at that point advance toward

Data collection
There are two essential technique for gathering the data that are essential and auxiliary
(Moon and Blackman, 2014). This both technique are essential as they help agent in gathering
data identified with the chose subject that is "To investigate significance of worker inspiration on
the execution of Uber drivers in London". According to the idea of research both essential and
optional technique will be utilized. In the essential data will be gathered from review in which
inquiries will be solicited from employeess from Uber. On the opposite side, optional data will
be gathered from various source that are books, diaries, web and so forth (Chowdhury, 2014).
These the two techniques for collection will help in giving profundity data identified with the
point. It is fundamental for the specialist to investigation the information subsequent to gathering
so as to get substantial result. There are two methods of breaking down the information that are
subjective and quantitative (Meyer, Ding and Zhang, 2014). In the present research primary data
collection method have been used by researcher for collect the fresh information about the
subject.
Data analysis-
Data analysis is procedure of reviewing, purifying, changing and demonstrating
information with the objective of finding valuable data, recommending conclusions and
supporting basic leadership. It has different aspects and methodologies, incorporating assorted
procedures under an assortment of names, in different business, science and sociology areas. In
other word one might say that information examination is a procedure of assessing information
utilizing scientific and legitimate thinking to inspect every part of information gave.
Significantly thee are two sorts of information examination that is qualitative and quantitative
(Baskerville and Wood-Harper, 2016). The accompanying exploration depends on the subjective
information examination under which changes information into discoveries and there is no
settled recipe for the change. It is a scope of procedures and technique utilized on the subjective
information that have been gathered to change them into some type of clarification,
comprehension or elucidation of the general population and circumstance (English and Kirshner,
2016). Qualitative information examination assumes a vital part in the exploration since it help a
specialist to comprehend the fundamental movements and gives a more profound importance of
conditions and purposes behind things. The real purpose for the choosing subjective information

examination is that the accompanying exploration depends on the comprehension or translation
of the general population and circumstance that are being researched. It is exceedingly critical
perspective for development and achievement of pursuits work right way. For directing a
compelling investigation researchercan pick either subjective or quantitative methods for
information examination (Kuada, 2012). It can be conceivable through selection of most
appropriate technique, through which analyst can discovering the more significant results. The
present case depends on subjective nature and information must be dissected through topical
examination. Topics are set up based on questions that re incorporated into the survey.
Types of research strategy
It is the essential piece of the examination procedure, in which most huge strategies,
devices and systems are received by the specialist. In nature of the exploration can be considered
in the subjective and quantitative. In the subjective research information must be assembled
through the methods for subjective perspectives. In this gathered information depends on the
diverse parts of value. For breaking down the information most appropriate subjective
instruments are embraced by the analyst, when the general investigation manages the human
observation and feeling than it’s said to be a successful subjective research (Mackey and Gass,
2015). On the opposite side quantitative research depends on the information which are
accumulated based on amount of information, in this different scientific instruments and systems
are utilized by the analyst. For dissecting the information and data which are gathered through
the subjective means researcher needs to choose the most appropriate devices which helps in
producing legitimate outcome and yield. At the point when an exploration manage statistical data
points that are connected with scientific perspectives are said to be quantitative in nature. In the
present study researcher have used qualitative research study for analyse the impact of
employees motivation on the organisation performance within Uber company. By use of this
research technique researcher can represent the information with help of graphs, tables and charts
in the research. By use of this research technique, scholar can effectively understand the actual
objective of the research and find out the best solution of research problem.
Sampling

perspective for development and achievement of pursuits work right way.
