INTRODUCTION
In an organisation, employees are essential part through which all activities and functions
of every business can carried out for achieving the objective. In the absence of human resources,
corporation cannot carry out activities and functions in an effective manner (Yousaf and et.al.,
2014). They are the assets of the business enterprise through which business objective can be
effectually achieved. In every functional department like human resource, marketing,
administration, operations, etc., employees are required for carrying out the activities. Thus, it is
very important for company to motivate and encourage human resources in such a manner so
that they can hold within business organisation for long time. By help of employee’s motivation,
company can increase the quality and productivity of business operations.
With the help of employee’s motivation, company can realise the importance of
employees and provide them monetary and non-monetary benefits according to their
effectiveness and performance (Idowu, 2017). In simple words, it can be said that employee's
motivation is a process in which management and higher authority of company motivate,
encourage and appreciate employee’s performance and the appreciation considers in terms of
monetary and non-monetary rewards. While management appreciate and recognise employee’s
performance then they motivate for give effective contribution within the business and achieve
determined target within specified time. Employee’s motivation is one process by which
personnel can encourage and motivate for higher performance and productivity. Motivation can
be divided into two theories that is intrinsic and extrinsic. With help of monetary and non
monetary reward, employees can improve their motivation and encouragement at workplace.
In current research study, researcher has the major objective to analyse significance of
employee’s motivation on the performance of Uber drivers in London. This study will help in
developing a deep understanding related to motivational tools and techniques that can be used by
Uber for improving the performance of drivers. In the present study, researcher has used several
methods and techniques of research methodology through which research solution can be gained
in an easy manner.

motivation topic has been selected by him for this thesis.
Significance of the study
Employees motivation is one of significant aspects in the organisation by which
performance of business can easily be improved. If personnel is happy and motivated within
company then they can automatically perform excellent manner for achieve objective. By use of
this study, researcher can understand the importance of employees motivation within Uber
company (Ganta, 2014). By applying this study in every business enterprise, management can

business. In this research study, several models, theories and approaches of employees
motivation have been also included thus it can be said that by this research investigator can gain
the detail knowledge of employees motivation and its role in the business performance. The

understanding identified with part of workers inspirations. Further, employeess assume huge part
as it is critical for the organisation to comprehend their requirements and satisfy them with the

understanding about the employee's motivation and its various techniques within the
company. In this part optional data will be introduced and study will be done of various
creators data identified with select data. Alongside this, the effect of workers inspiration
