A. COMPANY
1. OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
JCB is a leading earthmoving and building equipment maker. In 1979, the company
began as a joint venture and is now a 100 % subsidiary of J.C Bamford Excavators
in the United Kingdom. JCB now has 22 processing plants spread across five
continents, producing over 300 goods. Their success story would not have been
possible without the contributions of their employees. (JCB, 2020).
JCB is a production center for global markets, with all plants working on the concept
of One Global Quality. It has a nationwide network of more than 60 distributors and
650 outlets, as well as 6,000 fully qualified employees. Consumers depend on these
much further sources for quality assistance for their equipment.
Their goal is to expand the business by offering new, solid, and high-performing
goods and solutions to satisfy the needs of global customers. They will back up their
world-class brands with excellent customer service.

2. BUSINESS SEGMENTS
Backhoe Loaders were first launched nearly four decades ago, and the company has
since extended its product line to include over 50 various variants in eight various
product categories. Aside from backhoe loaders, this plant also produces skid steer
loaders, telehandlers, diesel generators, and diesel engines.
For the Company, these factories produce tracked excavators, wheeled loaders,
compaction machines, and fabrications. Pune is also home to JCB's biggest Design
Center outside of the United Kingdom, with over 400 engineers.

3. TOWS MATRIX
The TOWS Matrix is a must-have finishing product. It improves the deployment of
tactics by taking into account the relationships between Strengths, Weaknesses,
Opportunities, and Threats (Aslan, 2011). The TOWS matrix, which is seen in Fig. 2,
can be used to replace the effects of internal and external variables.

B. CUSTOMERS
By providing construction products and services, JCB is meeting the increasing
needs of different customer segments which is B2B. JCB’s customers are mainly
companies who are interested in Construction Equipment goods and services. And
businesses that demand high-quality goods and exceptional customer support.
JCB's customers are all in private as well as public sector companies. Their
consumers can be classified as contractors.
JCB focuses on developing new processes and products to stay ahead of the curve
in an environment of changing needs, innovation, and dynamic regulations (Kumar,
2006). The Company is extending its footprint around the world by developing a
varied portfolio of customers from several industries, enabling it to counter any
industry downturn by diverting sales to other markets.
In the B2B marketing service sector, JCB wants to make an equitable and equitable
profit. This goal can be achieved by achieving adequate market awareness and
product growth based on consumer needs.
