Your task is to complete three (3) Reflective Diary Sheets while on
vocational placement. For each diary entry, you will be reflecting on specific
criteria as listed below.
The Reflective Diary updates must include activities and time spent with the two (2) students
assigned to you, but any activity involving any kind of supportive role in school may be
included.
1. This will be your first Reflective Diary titled Week 1. In your reflections, describe your
thoughts, feelings and personal reflections regarding the following:

procedures
b. Your personal values and attitudes regarding disability and their potential impact in the
workplace, including those with disabilities.

A: The proper knowledge is well associated with the legislation which is used for the
disable people in order to provide their right which is required.
B: The personal values and attitude while supporting the disable people are quite
satisfied and used to provide important support such as assistance towards the
learning and many more.
C: It is essential make proper understanding which is show the right of student with
disabilities which is productive to gain more benefits in term of learning and
development. Therefore, the responsibilities is to provide education and training
which may show advantage for their future.
Successful Interventions. Provide description/s of any successful interventions that you
have provided when supporting the students in school.
The student who is sitting in the wheelchair is happy because it has access to
watch and somehow play the dodgeball and table tennis that is beneficial for
the student wellbeing and work as successful intervention.
Unsuccessful Interventions. Provide description/s of you any unsuccessful interventions
that you have provided when supporting the students in school.
There is a high anxiety ASD student who refuse to do any work and whereas
teacher is usually comprise.

Meaningful Learning Experiences for the Week. Describe any experience/s during

Some student is usually requiring proper attention for development of
relationship which show aspect to complete the task.

The thought is well focus on the working with student is create stress sometime
when the intervention gets fail due to the inappropriate approach which is
conducted by student. The feeling is usually happy when the student get
understanding and make proper coordination with me.

A: In this, the intervention is used to developed which show the approach which is
related with the facilitation of empowerment among the children. There is a student
who used to show the approach which is related with the behaviour which show the
impact where a student starts to attend their homework club and show the approach
which is open to ask the question if any queries or doubt are arises. The assistance as
teacher may show the aspect which is related with the empowerment which encourage
the children to become the part of homework club.
B: In this, the student is encouraged in order to take the proper support from the
teacher. Therefore, the respect, empathy and acceptance are used to provide to the
children which facilitate the positive motivation which may show the respect and
aspect of developing portfolio for the working and completing the task.
C: There are various of legal aspect are followed for the support of disable people. In
addition, the legal context shows the right and division which may support the patient
the all the ways for the care. In the context to student, they are requiring personal
assistance to improve learning and development.
D: While providing the care and support the children for their development and growth
in term of academic performance. They used to follow various set of commitment which
show the aspect which is related with the principle that is autonomy, respect and so on
which encourage the children toward the work.
E: The individual education program plan helps the student to access towards the
homework club that is defined as the written plan which is developed by school in
order to provide the special education team with the input that is associated from the
parents and specific student academic goals and method which is help to achieve the
goals and objective.
D: The understanding may show the aspect which is related with the context that

provide the provision of right towards the disability and offer them appropriate way to
read and gain learning with the appropriate teaching. The empowerment may
encourage the student to attend the home work club and ask question regarding the
topic.

It is well analysed that the empowerment and motivation develop sense of
knowledge. Where I had a student who attend the homework club and ask
question deliberately is the approach which act as intervention.
Unsuccessful Interventions. Provide description/s of you any unsuccessful interventions
that you have provided when supporting the students in school.
The unsuccessful intervention is usually related with the student which
provided the task to write the essay and due to the issue of dyslexia student
struggled for the proper learning.
Meaningful Learning Experiences for the Week. Describe any experience/s during
this week that you find meaningful.
There are two type of experience which I gain from the week that related with
the successful and unsuccessful intervention. Where I am quite satisfied with
the intervention which is success and disappointed due to the failure of
intervention.

It is challenging as teacher to deal with such student who require attention and
proper support for their learning. The though they require learning towards the
all the thing. I also experience a satisfaction aspect with student when they
enjoying the task and work properly.

A: The safe housekeeping practice may provide the context which is showing
the aspect which is free from pathogen and infection which is usually occur due
to the poor hygiene.
B: The safety is well maintained among the disable student by using the factor
which may contribute toward the educating children or student for their
personal hygiene such as hand wash and bathing.
C: Yes, I ensure my safety by following the regular hygiene such as hand wash
and so on.
D: Provide them education and perform demo for the hand wash and other
which regulate the proper function that is well related with the use of hygienic
environment.

In addition, a student just got transfer from the D to C that is done while
making the approach which is related with the assistance that provided by me
as the teacher.

that you have provided when supporting the students in school.
The student with the dyslexia is fail to clear the assign task. In addition, the
student struggle a lot and they require proper assistance towards the attention
of working to make the thing easier.

The proper support and care is initially requiring to the student with the anxiety
and so on but they also require attention and guide that produce reliable aspect
that is related with the term of experience.

I usually satisfied while working with the student who used to show the
approach which is based on reflection and provide the reliable viewpoint on the
student learning, growth and developments.
