Essay 1:
Purpose of applying master degree in Santa Clara University with Education Leadership
program.
I have opted for Master of Arts in Educational Leadership in the Santa Clara University
as I have always been interested in counseling psychology. I have always been interested in this
field since my childhood. I personally belief that the choices we make in our early life is going to
have an impact on our future. I would like to state that my love for this subject has been affirmed
through various experiences. One important experience that has influenced my decision to apply
for this program was my involvement in various community service sororities and also after
gaining a work experience in Ivy Max education as a general counselor along with the local
middle and high school students as well as with some international students. I am committed to
multiculturalism and diversity as I have worked as a general counselor with international and
local high school students with different cultural backgrounds and attitudes. In my past
experience, I have realized that counseling psychology is very important in everybody’s life has
caught my interest. I also realized that different people react with different events in their life and
I want to work along with the students to help them cope up with such situations positively. Ivy
Max has helped me to prepare for the SAT test and helped me to prepare myself for academic
competitions. There by opting Master of Arts in Education Administrator is seek to strengthen
my knowledge base in this field and develop my knowledge of administration and leadership in
the educational setting. Moreover, I have the interest and desire to develop strong leadership
qualities for managing an organization in the future and to fulfill my personal goals. I would like

to state that ‘love’ and ‘compassion’ are the two main reasons that guide my practice; it comes
out of love whenever I engage myself with the students and youth. I am highly committed to
social justice, multiculturalism and diversity. In the same respect, the Santa Clara University also
embodies these values, which is also one of the main reasons for my interest in the program by
the University. I firmly believe that Santa Clara University is the best fit for me. With this
program I intent to learn and understand the knowledge, ability and skills that is essential for my
career. Through my past experience I have learned how to build trustworthy relationship with the
students and their communities with different cultural backgrounds and different country of
origin. I had to learn to work cross culturally and learnt tangible skills which are required for
working with the youth and students. Therefore, I hope to further enhance my skills and develop
my knowledge about the subject. I believe that I could be a great candidate for Santa Clara
University and continue to become the legacy of multiculturalism, diversity, justice and
community it embodies. Thank you for your consideration.
Essay 2:
My personal and academic experience at Ivy Max, a leading in-centre service provider
helped me to perform well for the admission and intrigued my interest and desire to pursue
Master of Arts in Educational Leadership in the Santa Clara University. Therefore, I wish to
specialize in this field. I wish to move forward with my career of counseling psychology and
help various individuals to cope up with the problems and events faced by them and help them to
understand their full potential and help them be happy in their life by developing and
maintaining a healthy and happy relationship with their family and with the society as a whole. I
